1. Since all tech companies for all devices seem determined to connect everything to the internet and since all tech companies seem to harbor a hard leftist Ideology. I can only assume it is a feature.

   Someone says something right wing. Next thing you know Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk or Antifa screws with your insulin pump.

   1. I used to work at an IoT/embedded design company. It’s not a feature; it’s just good old-fashioned greed, incompetence and apathy. In eight years not once was secure communication even remotely part of the design spec. This is typical for the industry.

   2. why not, they are cutting off incomes and credit for things they don’t like.

2. The insulin pumps they are trying to recall are the ones that can be hacked (modified, fixed) to allow closed loop operation with a continuous glucose monitor. There are several user/citizen (non-corporate, non-government) projects which use these pumps as part of the system. Medtronic is preparing to release their own closed loop system. Guess they don’t want the competition.

3. Nice to know antifa can now hack into our medical devices and cause us harm without having to even get off their easy chair

   1. Vote Liberal and pay a carbon tax and antifa will leave you alone. 🙁

4. I live in constant FEAR that my Roomba is going to come for me in my sleep!

   1. Maybe you can appease it by denouncing Trump or executing a newborn.

5. Switch to meat and a low carb diet; you might not need insulin injections.
