        By the way, my credentials on the subject are as a Geologist (retired). The anti CO2 crowd don’t fool me one bit. I’ve posted about it enough times, here and elsewhere and directly to you CONS under Harper. Look it up. I don’t argue anymore with folks like you who seem to believe the BS on CO2, a trace gas (not a “pollutant” like our own Climate Barbie states) is responsible for what day to day weather and temperatures are. Methane has a bigger effect on the subject, if you actually educated yourself on it.

        We are currently at 400 ppm CO2 now. Whooptie do. Fruit producing plants (grains, fruits et al) become stressed at 250 ppm and most of that plant life dies off at 200 ppm CO2, though grains can exist down to levels humans (and most carbon based life as we know it) would be dead at.

        So, my question to you as a so-called CONSERVATIVE is this: how low do you want to go on CO2, since you think it’s so important? The next one is this: who volunteered Canada to be the test case on this? The next one is: The Sun shuts down, do you believe CO2 will keep us warm?

        Carbon taxes? We get winter here and you screwballs in the CPC think we should feel guilty heating our homes in winter? GFY!!

I feel as certain today as I did three years ago that in a democracy, if you give people a choice you have a duty to implement what they decide. I have done my best to do that. I negotiated the terms of our exit and a new relationship with our closest neighbours that protects jobs, our security and our Union.I have done everything I can to convince MPs to back that deal.

    I knew of a situation where an executive was fired from his position but they allowed him to stay on for 3 months in order to allow for a “smooth transition”.

    All it did was create chaos and ended up changing the direction of the institution away from it’s original goals.

  19. The EU is right ticked by the Brexit vote, and there’s no way it will ever agree to a deal that doesn’t hurt Britain. She could negotiate for 10 years and not get a decent separation agreement, she should have realized that shortly after negotiations began, and committed GB to leave without a deal when the March deadline came.

    Britain is a “grown up” nation, has been for centuries, they don’t need the EU nursemaids to “look after” them the way the Soviets “looked after” their satellite states after WWII. And how did those nations do after exiting Soviet Union control? Much better, every one of them. Britain is very capable of standing on their own two feet.
