A 9:48 p.m. Facebook post on 2nd Precinct Minneapolis Crime Watch page said that University of Minnesota (U of M) police were requesting assistance from Minneapolis police (MPD) and Metro Transit police for “a group of 8-10 males chasing people with hammers” and that some people were injured. A Facebook post a minute later on Minneapolis Scanner page said that the three police departments were responding to “multiple [911] calls” about “10-12 Somali teen males armed with hammers chasing people,” also with “several injuries reported.” Both Facebook pages regularly post summaries of police scanner audio.
But hey, ….. keep bringing them in. What could possibly go wrong ??

I live in the Minneapolis TV area. I have seen No, None, zero coverage of this story on any broadcast TV Station so far.
(I regularly watch the 11:00-12:30 midday news, the evening 4:00-8:00 newscasts, and the 9:00-10:30 evening news. Right now I am watching a replay of the 10:00 Fox9 broadcast.) Can you say news suppression?
They all did cover the SUV that ran into two people at a downtown bus stop that injured them. Drunk with a criminal record and suspended license. Reported on it on almost every broadcast too.
Pioneer Press finally wrote something about it. Made it “five or six juveniles”, says “no injuries”, says a couple of the juveniles may have had “pipes.”
My two friends on the Henn County Sheriff’s Dept say the first account was correct.
The article only mentioned males. No mention of Somalians. I suspect the local Mennonites on a bit of a spree.

Seems to me that if people are attacking other people with hammers the cops should be shooting them. You get hit in the head with a hammer you’re dead or worse. If not then armed citizens should be shooting them.
