  5. Even the CBC gets it wrong, although they make the same most people do. In the picture of a bunch of German air force personnel, they refer to them as “Nazi troops.” Although this is arguably correct if you are talking about Waffen SS troops who were an arm of the Nazi party, it is not correct to refer to the German armed forces in general that way. It’s like referring to the Canadian troops of the era as “Liberal troops”, or Americans as “Democrat troops”.

    1. I agree. You are correct. The German forces depicted in this clip are mostly Luftwaffe or Luftwaffe paratroop personnel. At the 8 second mark, those possibly could be Wehrmacht troops. No SS runes in sight anywhere. I believe I have seen the extended version of this clip and it actually shows German forces surrendering in Holland at the end of the war.

Along with Slavs, Jews & others, Germans also died on account of the NAZIs. To deny the 1933-45 Wehrmacht was a NAZI institution is to cover-up evil.

If it was ok for Czechoslovakia to capture Zaolzie when Poles were defending from a Soviet invasion then it certainly was ok for Poland to re-capture Zaolzie when Czechoslovaks were bending over and spreading wide for Hitler.
            3. The most important railway line connecting Czechoslovakia with Germany run through Zaolzie. Given what was brewing, Poles would be suicidal not to recapture it.

Dresden was NOT a DELIBERATE mission to specifically cause such a conflagration. it was merely intended to be just another attack on a german city populated by the likes of factory workers and civilians who were also contributing to the war effort and was also a rail centre for the movement of war materials.

    Some of us live to destroy, as others build or serve.

    What the destroyers never learn, is they are miserable failures, having never built a thing, they lack the knowledge and skill set to be truly dangerous.

    Misery loves company,hence their need to “share” with the young and gullible.

  16. This was not a mistake. The minister may have been unaware of what the video content would be, but someone in the production chain in Veteran’s Affairs was making a deliberate propaganda point when the video was produced.

    Archival video – hell even stock video – is always carefully tagged and annotated to describe the content. It’s virtually impossible to do this kind of thing accidentally.

  23. As a few of you will remember I have been calling today’s Liberals nothing more or less than Nazis in clown suits for a number of years. You don’t need to see any more examples than this for proof. No one will be held to account for this “Mistake”. Anyone that has read history can start to make the link that what the Nazis had tried to accomplish in ten years, on a fast boil, has been put in the slow cooker and timed for 100 years. We are at the 70 years point and look what they have accomplished. Abortion on demand, euthanasia, suppression of news, state control of the economy, state control of the education system, rise of anti-Semitism, vilification of any opposition, there is only a couple of things missing in the equation. One of the missing factors is state control of the judicial system and that is apparently underway both north and south of the 49th. The other is gun control, and they are working night and day to rectify that. Another 30 years and our ‘goose’ will be cooked. According to some of the ‘newer, indoctrinated’ commentators here we might not even have that much time left.
