Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Ah so you’ve gone Full Retard and really do equate the country with your own private property.
unDork, a country is a collection of “private properties”, so how can one get away from considering that fact. Well, beside getting a frontal lobotomy and going full unDork!!
No it isn’t. That’s called a neighborhood association. Thank God Canada isn’t one of those.
You couldn’t make it as a slave, epsilon.
First Nations sure seem to think so.
Dear Loser “UnMe”,
Why do you feel so comfortable disparaging those who we politely refer to as “mentally challenged”? Your insensitivity is un-Canadian but many on here have suspected you of this for some time.
By the way, how many refugees have you directly and personally helped in the past year?
Concerned
So all of a sudden the welcome is withdrawn when its time for Mohummad to go home with you. What these phony phuckers really mean is that some one else should take Mohummed home or that the taxpayer should send him a check every month, even though he has never paid a nickle in taxes in this country and probably never will. Welcome to Canada it will be great as long as it lasts.
Bingo!
When my grandparents came to Canada in 1926 there were no hotels, no cheques every month, no RCMP carrying their luggage, in fact not one thin dime from the government was taken or offered for that matter during every step of the journey. Canadian Pacific covered and paid the freight from Riga, Latvia to Steinbach, Manitoba and every family head was responsible to pay the travel bill to CPR for his family. My in-laws family came in 1923 and owed the money for their trip, which they finally were able to pay off in 1942. My gpa was fortunate to have enough funds to be able to pay for his family’s trip to Canada.
Sponsors were arranged for in Canada and had to vouch for the preliminary establishment of each family in a home and employment.
I don’t know if my parents and I needed to be sponsored when we came over from Europe in the mid-1950s. We did have relatives in the country who left Berlin a few years earlier, so maybe it was because of them that we were able to do it.
Even so, my parents were prepared to earn their keep and pay for a lot of things out of pocket. something that many immigrants back then thought they should do. As far as I understood, they didn’t even know they were eligible for government money such as child allowances.
My father arrived before I was born. He found a job in Sherbrooke, Quebec and worked there for a year before joining my relatives in Edmonton. During that time, he earned enough money for my mother and I to come over.
My father came to Canada in 53 with just a suitcase and his trade. No Liberal government ever gave him free room and board nor did he ever receive monthly cheques.
and it cannot last much longer the debt will soon crush us. of course the third worlders won’t mind because that will just be a return what they are accustomed to.
Actually all it means is that they should be allowed into the country. That is all; no one needs to take anyone else in.
Please note that the same people who didn’t bat an eye before denying entry to Europe’s Jews and sending them back to certain death are happy to make you pay to import the scum of Africa and the Middle East.
Why, you ask?
Among other reasons:
1. because blacks and Muslims of any race detest Jews as much as Canada’s so-called elite do.
2. Liberated leftist women only enjoy procreation when they’re playing the whore for a black or Arab thug who WILL beat them bloody if the white slut doesn’t do what he says.
Their fathers and husbands are paying for their imported black pudding.
Ass Canadian, can you be any more uninformed and bigoted, or is that it for this week end. Does an A$$hole like you think my black Jewish friend hates himself?
Fact, are you as stupid as that post makes you look, or did you bring in professional help with that one???
Unme been huffing too many solvents dude? Still using benzene? You stated you are a biochemist but I have my doubts. Its a logic thing.
People everywhere are always really generous with Other people’s money, time, energy and property.
Canadians won’t even take in their elders let alone some death-cultist who wants them to convert or die.
Ever notice how the biggest supporters of trendy lefty things like “irregular immigrants” seem to all live in gated communities.
So you think you had a tough beginning…immigrating from the Netherlands.
From my mother in laws diary circa 1954:
Raymond, Alberta
March 6, 1954 We went to see the boss and viewed the house. It was not too bad, although there was no gas or electricity and thus we only had a wood stove. For light in the evening we use an oil lamp. Perhaps we’ll get used to it. We pray constantly for patience and forbearance, hoping all will turn out well. We went to bed at nine, but we did not sleep very well. The bed was hard and it was cold, one thin blanket and a cover. Temp ~ -10 C
March 8, 1954 Today was laundry day. We bring the wash to a boil twice and then do the wash by hand. Oh well, outside it is bright and sunny, so everything dries quite well. In between I put clothes in the kitchen cupboards, because the house has no closets. In the bedroom is a plank held up by a stick. That is the closet. When our big trunk arrives, we’ll put up a sheet in front instead of a door. We don’t buy meat or eggs, for they are too expensive.
March 9, 1954 Today we were busy all day scrubbing the kitchen. Everything was filthy, as if it had not been cleaned in years. I used an old nightgown, cut into pieces for rags. I had to go over everything four times. Arie went to the dump and discovered three half burned chairs. He would scrape them and put a coat of paint on them. Those will be our chairs. Now we only have a little wooden bench with a sort of workshop table, which the boss had given us. Yes, they are good to us. That evening I cooked a meal on the wood stove for the first time: cabbage, potatoes, gravy and a delicious vanilla pudding, which you did not have to cook. Arie went to the boss to try out the plough and see what it is like and how it works. Later he will be back for tea and an orange. It is wonderful to be married and be together as we are, otherwise we would not be able to take it. Together we’ll manage fine.
……..
The above illustrates the german wisdom: “Aller anfang ist schwer.”
(Every beginning is difficult.)
She passed this last week at the age of 91, and is on to her eternal reward.
Leaving a legacy of 4 children, 11 grandchildren, ~4.5 great grand children.
Cheers

1st Saint Nicolaas Army
Army Group “True North”
Every grade VI school child curriculum in Canada should include excerpts from your grandmother’s diary and that of other immigrant settlers to Canada, before the welfare state. It would act as an anti-dote against the subversion that is the Cult. Marxism revisionist history of Canada.
“Is this the Canada carved out of the wilderness by men and women of uncommon valor?”
Charlton Heston, British Columbia, 2000 A.D.
Cut welfare for “Immigrants” until they’ve contributed for at least 5 years, and the boats will stop sailing.
I agree, and further to Hans Rupprecht’s entry, our Irish grandparents immigrated in 1924. They were tenant farmers around Stoughton SK (SE portion of province). They lived for the first 2 years in a sod house. My grandmother had left a very large house in Ireland. They immigrated because my grandfather’s trucking business had 2 trucks blown up during the bad times in Ireland. He was 67, our grandmother was 47 (she was his second wife). Life was difficult in the 1920’s, but they made gains. And then the dirty 30’s hit. The older sons went out to work as hired hands and sent money home to help the family. My mother was 10 in 1932, her sister was 8. After the 30’s, it was WWII. It was one blessed thing after another. Our grandfather died in his early 80’s in the early 40’s. There was no CPP, there was no welfare. Life was tough.
Welfare for immigrants should be a bus ticket home to the shithole world paid from a deposit they pay when they enter Canada.
No they won’t because they aren’t here for welfare. They’re here for a better life.
Principles just like turdo and the pope: a mile wide but a millimeter deep.
“We can’t, because we only have one bedroom. We live in a condo”
Please expand that excuse across the entire country. We ALL have only ONE Bedroom. We all are struggling under the weight of carbon taxes, and a multitude of “punishment” taxes by a runaway central government. NOBODY can afford to take in WAVES of FAKE refugees. The few REAL refugees … like Christian Africans being slaughtered by Muslim Terrorist squads … can be accommodated. Yes, I have a spare bedroom for one of them.
“NOBODY can afford to take in WAVES of FAKE refugees. ”
And yet we not only are, we’re richer for it.
My mother’s family came to Canada in 1912 and had to go to the Lakehead (Port Arthur, Fort William). Worked hard as so many have stated and appreciated the chance to be successful and they were. They and their generations built this wonderful country that the Liberals are so intent on destroying by allowing cultures that have done nothing for centuries to continue that in our country.
They should be treated like many immigrants were generations ago.
Dropped off in the middle of the barren prairies with a few supplies and a hardy slap on the back, watching the train pull away as they will have to build their new life from scratch.
See this is why we always kick your ass, and will continue to bury you: your arguments-if you can really call them that-suck. They’re pathetic. You’ve curdled into unaware self-parody. Get rekt.
