Mrs. May’s willful ignorance and obstinacy means she has never understood the landscape she’s operating in, where the minefields lie, where the safe places and escape routes might be. She has essentially been blundering her way blindfolded through the most delicate and critical negotiations that Britain has faced since the Second World War, and now she has blown up her political career. She may have blown up the country along the way.
Her leadership is in its dying days. She is on her way out, whether within days, weeks or months. Despite all her duty, she will be remembered as one of the most inadequate and disastrous leaders the country has ever had.
When it comes to Theresa May and her negotiations on Brexit, it seems she is trying to ‘remain’ but make it look like an exit. For some reason the phrase ‘stuck on stupid’ comes to mind.

Ms. May is doing EXACTLY what her owners want her to do. Trudeau has not had to face a hostile press for most of his term in office nor could the civil service in Ottawa be described as a deep state hostile to his government’s policies. So, Trudeau comes out as the worse politician.
