The server which should have been in the custody and trust of the American people.

The President acted within his authority in firing Comey (who didn’t want to fire him), who himself was acting in bad faith, falsely telling Trump he was not under investigation.

Because if they accept that there was no collusion then they must accept that there was another reason that Trump won, and it wasn’t because he cheated.
Such a concept would also require that they accept what was being done to elect their candidate was ineffective or that their candidate was considered worse than Trump.
If their candidate was worse than Trump, then they will have to accept that all the characteristics they despise about Trump were also applicable to their candidate and they willfully or ignorantly tried to hide that fact, which would be an act of collusion.
And that reality is just too much for them.
