  1. Many of us can hope it isn’t over but it is only the few with power that can ensure there is a bona fide push back.
I’ve emailed No Time McKenna and even Chrythia but …

    1. Chrystia Chomiak? We can talk about the restoration of the rule of law when Chrystia’s fraudulent Canadian citizenship is revoked and she’s deported to Russia to stand trial for giving aid and comfort to her people’s enemies.

(“Ukraine” is not a country, and Chrystia is not a Canadian. Her grandfather was a Russian Nazi and unrepentant Jew-hater.)

      1. Ukraine is a country and Russia is a diseased drunken whore of nations. Fortunately they are drinking themselves to death and aborting their litters at numbers higher than giving live births too. Carry on.

        1. And Trump is making sure they sell their nat gas into Europe for peanuts. They are a nation doomed in every way.

  2. Playas?
    Which team?
    Matter of opinion?
My experience of the alternate facts is different.

  3. ha ha ha !!!

some bloke in the tweet responses got a headshot of moreneau, turned it upside down and used that as the meme.

    ha ha ha !!!!!

and no, dont get me started on the topic of head shots.

  4. An independent and apolitical judiciary, and departments thereof, fully respecting the laws in place, is basic to civil society and government.

Influence, other acts to amend, direct, or otherwise circumvent this fundamental basis of democratic governance is illegal, unjust, and immoral.

IF PARLAMENT or parts thereof are free to act against this fundamental rule and basis of our democracy, why should ANYONE, obey ANY Law. That is the base question.

This Government and Members thereof MUST, evaluate their conscience and oaths, and act accordingly.

Without LAW for all, there is, NO LAW. Ergo, citizens can ignore “law”, and act according to own interpretation thereof, act freely to ignore and interpret to own ends and desired arguments.

Anarchy, or free for all, what a total joke of what is supposed to be a democracy with ethics and rule of Canadian Law.

SO, MP’s, you pick, Law or Free For All. Justin etal have shown their desire and ethics.

What are yours. Just asking. Let us, Joe Public know.

  5. So basically team Sockmonkey has provided a plausible deniability for those that need some reason to continue supporting his government.
However, there cannot be another example of bad behavior from team Sockmonkey or the plausible denial will be completely demolished.
Now what are the odds that something else isn’t coming down the pipe?

For the remaining supporters hes on thin ice.

  6. The reason Butts, Trudeau, et al. are banging on about the jobs, jobs, jobs motive?

Likelihood of RCMP investigation and tainting thereof.

  7. I wonder when Bombardier gets a thorough scan.. Can you imagine whats gone on under the table with them.

  8. Does anyone know if the Public Prosecution Service can instruct the RCMP to investigate? The normal protocol, as I understand it, is for the RCMP to decide on its own to investigate, and after it does so, to review its findings with the Public Prosecution Service, which makes the final decision on whether criminal charges will be laid. In this instance, it would be sweet revenge if the Public Prosecution Service could order the RCMP to investigate whether the prime minister and his henchmen illegally tried to overturn the decision of the Public Prosecution Service to deny SNC-Lavalin a deferred prosecution agreement.

  9. “I don’t think this is over.”

I hate to sound so cynical, but I disagree. I don’t believe for one second that the Public Prosecution Service of Canada will be investigating or prosecuting this affair as I suspect that it is just as infected with the Deep State Liberal Laurention Elite as the public service and the national police force. We have the modern version of the 1800s Upper Canada Family Compact in control of all the power organs in Canada.

On CPAC late this afternoon, one of the media mentioned that Canada purchased a pipeline in BC, so why couldn’t Canada assist SNC Lavalin.

  10. Get back to me on the rule of law when Trudeau and Butts are in prison and his cabinet are all either there with them, or have had their fraudulent Canadian citizenships revoked and been deported to their countries of origin and permanently barred from Canada.

An objective, dispassionate prosecutorial service free of political influence would already be working on that.

  11. Of course it’s fucking over.

You’d be a fool to have ever expected anything else.

    The rich and powerful skate.

    Back to your toil, peasants.

The elite need more taxes to send to their friends overseas.

    1. I note that prosecutors seem to have trouble even getting cases against SNC execs to court.

      https://www.cbc.ca/radio/day6/episode-430-snc-lavalin-in-court-revisionist-oscars-elliott-abrams-google-built-cities-rupaul-and-more-1.5027926/why-quebec-lawyers-are-struggling-to-prosecute-former-snc-lavalin-executives-1.5027950

SNC VP Stéphane Roy – his case was suspended because it took too long to go to trial.

SNC VP Sami Bebami – the obstruction of justice charges were stayed due to unreasonable delays. Two other charges might still proceed. Who knows?

Pierre Duhaime – got a plea deal on one charge (he got 20 months house arrest) and 14 of 15 charged were dropped.

  12. In other news, dispassionate prosecutors in the United States wanted 20 years minimum for Paul Manafort, for the heinous crime of helping Donald Trump get into the White House.

He’s getting four, which is four too many but which the court will expect him to understand as merciful.

  13. The unequivocal message from those in charge is that if you employ enough people you are immune to prosecution.

The secondary message is that expediency trumps honor.

What a sad devolution of our Canadian society.

  14. So, at what point do we declare the Trudeau regime illegal and illegitimate, and begin to resist? We can start with open harassment and interference with Federal officials… There is a LOT you can do locally to completely paralyze this regime.

  15. The Liberals have said all they are likely to say, unless more comes out. Basically, they have said this was a case of politics as usual, and that JWR misinterpreted it as pressure. They just didn’t realize that they had not appointed a trusted water carrier who would interpret pressure as instructions. And they are right, this is politics as usual.

The voters could waste their time considering whether to change politics as usual, but in reality, this whole business is almost insignificant when compared to much larger questions such as climate fraud. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate this a 2 or 3, while things going unremarked upon are eights or nines. The reason they go without comment is that the “loyal opposition” fails to make note of them in adequate terms. Instead they give out coded messages to a base they have come to rely upon for votes, and a failure to recall what was promised to them. That too is politics as usual.

    1. “this whole business is almost insignificant when compared to much larger questions such as climate fraud.”
That is a mouthful of Truth… The Lawyer/legal corruption is a Game played between Lawyers….Nothing follows the Rule of Law as understood by Joe 6 pack.. They are incestualize bound together like shit paper.. Who gives a F**k what Courts think……

  16. Actually the basic problem is the concept of a Privy Council. Establishing such an entity is the essence of a Bureaucracy from a distant country do Nation Building when the Distant Country; in this case the British Empire –sic– United Kingdom afraid a powerful Nation such as the post-American Civil War and the reestablishment of the United States of America.
The unnecessary large Military Force described as the Union Army was under reassignment or down sizing.

The British Empire either on their initiative in lieu of a properly functioning Monarchy; the struggling Parliament, unable to maintain focus on whether International Relations ingeneral and/or the focus should be on a belligerent Turkey and/or become afraid the remaining Colonies of British North America were to be abandoned.

The resultant was a quasi Lord Durham extension of British stiff–them Colonials with group of political opportunists; But bolstered with some sort of the structure of cohesion not then available in Great Britain; however a Privy Council with a supplicant Bureaucrat to the British Bureacracy who would be able to swing the British Big Finance Stick over the Colonial Opportunists.

Ergo a Privy Council with a Clerk having a tight grip on the Dollars and the weak nature to do what His Betters __ British Bureaucrats __ told the Clerk how to proceed. Any Politically elected and/or Identified as someone capable to be Leader must swear an Oath of secrecy. Therefore establishing the very best of We know Better than them crowd of knowing something and not being able to tell anyone.

The only release and solution is to Start Over. The Minister of each Department is responsible and ALL civil servants paid and expensed fore that Department are Responsibile to the Minister. The Department has a Head Minion which turns the Crank for all existing Legislation and Regulation. That is it.

The Poltical exercise is to determine what, if any, New Legislation is necessary and defend the principle(s) to the electorate. without any access to the Crank of Governance minutia until a Crank Turner accepts the responsibility for turning another crank and/or eliminating an unnecessary crank which the Minister(s) accept responsibility to eliminate. In essence ___ dump the Privy Council__ let each needed Department with whatever Constituation Interpretation is arrived at in A general free for all.

  17. Has a more self-aggrandizing, horn-blowing pubic official ever testified at a Parliamentary committee before? When nailed dramatically by Lisa Raitt in one of his evasions, the phone call from SNC Chairman Lynch, Wernick could offer nothing except that his conduct was acceptable. Just one example why witnesses must be sworn in and why Liberals on the committee refused to support such a motion.
As for his constant reminder of service and sacrifice, Canadians might note that he is extremely well paid in salary and benefits and has been for 37 years.
Still he has the gall to whine about social media and the beating he and his friends must endure. And he is proposed as one of the officials on a Government panel to monitor foreign influence in Canada’s election.
Not often MPs call for the firing of a public servant, but his could not come soon enough

  18. Right… so we want pretty socks to step down, the Liberals to have a leadership race and convention, followed by an election.

I prefer son of Maggie right where he is because the wooden emotionless poll testing MSM worshipping CPC leader only stands a chance with pretty socks running as head of the LPC. Any LPC leader with half a brain and some charisma would give Mr. Scheep a run for his money.

  19. Michael Sr. TY for some education on the Privy Council. This is a shadowy Elite group
that is hard to find information on. I ‘wikied’ Michael Wernick and he is a ghost. Hardly any substance there. I find it difficult to believe that such a man would be made to appear at a wider inquiry.

The PM is a malignant narcissist utterly lacking in self awareness. He is incapable of learning. He’s NOT ‘tone deaf’. The only voice he hears is his own or what he has memorized from Butts, maybe his brother, and who knows who else. The hissing snakes of Islam and other flatterers?

Butts’ token testimony was an insult to the public. I’d like to think that people will be brought to account. An army of lawyers can outlive us as Dickens showed in “Bleak House” Trudeau will be tossed out of that mansion they are renovating when Canadians get angry at repeated platitudes in the face of a slowing Economy.
