Will Someone in Trudeau’s Circle Go to Jail?

There is a reason his denials are so lawyerly.

Section 139 of the Criminal Code says anyone who willfully “obstruct, pervert or defeat the course of justice is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years.”

  1. Didn’t direct. Begged, pleaded, asked, requested, pressured – sure. Directed – no. He’s a liberal and crooked by nature. in the old days he might have appointed himself attorney-general.

  2. A PM that accepts illegal gifts (bribes?) in the form of fully paid vacations.
The only PM ever found to be in breach of ethics by the “Ethics Commissioner”
A Finance Minister that engages in insider trading and somehow manages to forget his villa in France
A cabinet minister resigns from politics to avoid questions in the H of C regarding interference in a procurement program
Isn’t the Fisheries Minister under some sort of suspicion for awarding lucrative contracts to relatives?
A liarberal MP with massive “gambling debts” and a real interest in how money laundering investigations are handled
    Omar Khadr
    Condolences for a murderous dictator
    The whole India trip fiasco
Now, SNC Lavalin (Quelle Surprise another Quebec sourced scandal)
    My God! What next???
Unfortunately, the average Liarberal voter votes by the mantra of “What’s in it for me” and doesn’t care about the lying, cheating and stealing that are ingrained in the Liarberal party. Just as long as they get their indexed pension cheque, all else can be forgiven.
Please Eastern idiots, re-elect this moron. Maybe my fellow Westerners will finally say enough

    1. Well Chris, most Canadians are stupid. JT will probably be PM for the next six years as most Canadians are low info types and just don’t care. Canada has long been a banana republic ruled by a corrupt cabal from Quebec. Nothing will change. The media is bought and paid for, as is the federal police force, I suspect.
Like a couple in an abusive relationship, western separation in the only true way of ending the cycle, but don’t hold your breath, like I said earlier, most Canadians are stupid.

  3. Answer to the headline: possibly, but it certainly won’t be anyone important.

Perhaps there is an underling whose surname is Harper, who will take all the blame and will admit guilt and throw himself on the mercy of the Court, to be given 6 months house arrest.

The headlines will blare,”Harper Pleads Guilty”, and twenty-six paragraphs down, probably on the second page, we’ll find out it isn’t THAT Harper .

What WAS the name of the guy who took it up the a$$ for the Liberals in Gomery?

    1. We can all be thankful this is not yet another instance of someone using their own money to pay back taxpayers rather than using taxpayer money to pay themselves. That is beyond the pale and warranted a media camp out for an insignificant trial.

One of many problems and false assertions arising out of 2015 election with the mediocracy failing to fess up until their political bedfellows were safely ensconced in power. I wonder if the government fake news workshop is looking into that?

What’s next from these neo-Harper Conservatives, talking over other participants at debates. Better to unite by dividing?

Actually that has a nice ring to it. Ain’t payback a bummer?

Look for his return and charm offensive once the inevitable happens and the Grits go after Harper. Can’t wait.

With Trudeau voters’ remorse at a fever pitch, our illustrious former PM would like to throw some dirt on his coffin.

    2. Don Morris: the guy who took it up the ass was
      Chuck Guite.
I think he was a gardiner with the NCC….
Yeah he had the keys to the bank….

  4. The lobbyist registrar reports 79 meetings between Neil Bruce, president and CEO of SNC-Lavalin, and senior government officials where issues of “justice and law enforcement “ were discussed (Brian Lilly reported).

There is something fishy going on here. Oops, my bad, it’s not fishy, it’s Quebec sewage rising to the top! 🙁

  5. One day Canadians will figure out that only fools depend on courts for justice. Men carry it out themselves.

Don’t vote. Show up to riot, and ready to burn down Rockcliffe Park piles with the parasites who live there trapped inside. Better that than letting your children be the ones shoved into an oven.

  6. Latest statement from the ex justice minister is that she cannot comment due to lawyer-client privilege……huh?
So who was the client involved in this?
She had no direct involvement in the case against SNC until the request for remediation was made to which she said no.
Further, that discussion would be confined to only the minister and the legal reps in this case, the PMO cannot be involved in that discussion. She would not have a “client” to restrict her comments on.
This just threw gas on the fire.
The loose cannon that keeps this problem in play is that she did refuse remediation.

    1. “she cannot comment due to lawyer-client privilege……huh?”

But privilege does not extend to the lawyer conspiring in criminal activity. Besides the Attorney General’s client is the people, not the Prime Minister.

      1. Me thinks she is pretending to take the ‘high’ road and not say anything. Let Justin and Butts play in the crap they created.

We’ll see if the media keeps up the pressure.

    2. I don’t think one can claim solicitor-client privilege if one is not a lawyer. Jody Wilson-Raybould does not have membership in a bar association in either BC or Ontario, according to the website listings, and so is not a lawyer. In my opinion, she cannot claim a lawyer’s privilege and does not have clients. Instead, she has co-conspirators, or she is a witness. By refusing comment she is simply refusing to harm or help Juthtin, and refusing to incriminate herself.

  7. In today’s Globe:
“Just last week, former SNC-Lavalin chief executive Pierre Duhaime pleaded guilty to breach of trust for his role in a scheme to pay $22.5 million to officials with the McGill University Health Centre to get inside track on a $1.3 billion contract to build a new hospital.”

Bribery, a way of life in SNC-Lavalin? a way of life in Quebec?

    1. My father always said “Never buy property in Quebec, it always comes attached with a lawsuit” Perhaps it is because they do not follow Canada’s laws (It is my understanding, I could be wrong, but that they follow the Napoleonic Code).

  8. Trudeau’s circle jerks will never pay the price. The PM himself should be made to eat the Ookie Cookie in jail. But lets face it, we all know about the corruption of Mulroney and Chretien and jack shit happened. K Bec politicians are untouchable in Canadistan.

  9. Will someone go to jail?

The Justin Trudeau Liberals are Cult. Marxists. Thus advocating identity group solidarity, collectivism.
To stay true to their principles, those responsible should be proud to wear orange jumpsuits on a chain gang.

  10. “Section 139 of the Criminal Code says anyone who …”
Depends what “ANYONE” means in Canadian Jurisprudence.
Based on 30 years of observation,Anyone means:Anyone not of the protected parasitic classes, can be savaged by the process, bankrupted and raped..

ANYONE does NOT include your parasitic overlords.
Those of the ruling kleptocracy (political, bureaucratic and lawfare groups) shall be, ignored where possible, charged with crimes of a significantly lesser consequence than their actions warrant and slow walked through the process if charges must be laid(To appease public anger),slow walked to the point that statutes of limitation free them.
And when all else fails they will “resign for health reasons” and the bureaus will refuse to press charges.
As being removed from the trough is considered a fate worse than death, inside the bubble.

Anyone remember the Deputy Minister of the Environment, who stole $60? million to set up an NGO to “study climate change”?
The consequences???Nice job he retired to.
How about Chuck Baby of adscam??

  11. He’s still got nice hair, women still vote and Conservatives are still big meanies. This will be water off a ducks back and he will be reelected in the fall. The media will ensure that this is forgotten within a week.

    1. That’s why they push this story now. Most will forget by October.

Watching Lisa last night made me think that. Why now? Getting out front on the story, to bury it later. A half billion buys lots, dontcha think?

  12. Bongo could call in his police force….the rcmp….yeah they’ll get to the bottom of this.

  13. The short answer to your question is no.

It’s not a crime when it’s done by Trudeau or his minions.

  14. No, for elites to go to jail the rule of law has to exist. In Banana Republiks elites do not go jail. Jail it for the little people.

  15. Andrew Scheer had a fairly good news conference this morning, where he demanded that the House Standing Committee on Justice hold an emergency meeting next week to hear witnesses. I checked the HoC member list for this committee, and the Libs have 6 members, the Cons have 3, and the NDP has 1 member. So the Libs have a majority, and odds are they will block having any meeting. It will be interesting to see how the big media treat what happens here.

    1. Well lets approach this from another angle then.
If these allegations are false, take the Sockmonkey at his word and ask him if he is accusing the Globe and Mail of propagating fake news?
As I alluded to before, the only way to get the media to attack the liberals is if the liberals publicly attack them. It would stick if the attacker is the Sockmonkey himself.
No one in the liberal caucus at this point can waffle on that question, a non answer will be perceived as an admission that the story is credible and that the G&M is not lying.
Wonder when the next random act of journalism will occur to make this happen?

      1. Great question. Is Turdeau now accusing the media of propagating fake news. Wonder if any reporter will ask it?

  16. Liberals never go to jail ad actually never even face a real court. For those with short memories. Liberals and their bagmen stole 300M in Adscam. And Chretien made a joke out of the Liberal appointed Adscam Enquiry. No charges nothing, instead of being arrested and tried in a real court, they appoint a special enquiry with their own Liberal Judge who understands the rules and how to lead the SCAM. Laws are for LITTLE PEOPLE. you should know that by now.

  17. Sadly, there is only a very slim likelihood that anyone will be charged. The Crown would have to prove that the “pressuring” went waaaayyyyyy beyond suggesting. And that would have to come from Ms. Because-it’s-2015 herself.

It is unlikely that turdo in all his vacuity (or anyone in his ethics-challenged inner circle) would be stupid enough to have communicated his wish to give his SNC friends a break to a traceable format.

  18. Don’t hold your breath waiting for Jody to clear this up in the Conservatives’ favour. She’s a whackadoo. Remember her comments after the Gerald Stanley verdict. She wasn’t so concerned about keeping politics out of the judicial process then.

I’d be a lot happier if resolving this favourably didn’t depend on her.

  19. Just viewed and participated in a Sun Winnipeg online poll… as of 4:30 pm today / Friday…. 97.2 % of respondents voted for a full on criminal investigation with a yes.

The Winnipeg Sun is a Conservative slanted newspaper, but that is the highest percentage of yes’s I have seen on any pole ever.

Me thinks this isn’t going to go away.

    Imagine me eating popcorn.

  20. Every law the liberals put forward, the opposition should put forth an amendment that states “no employee or member should accept lobbying activities from a company currently under investigation”

Make the liberals vote no on that over and over again.

Of course it will never happen.

  21. SNC-L successfully lobbied the libranos to pass legislation that would allow them to avoid a criminal prosecution and negotiate a deferred prosecution agreement DPA. This legislation was slipped into the budget. It was missed by the opposition.

SNC-L then wanted to use the new legislation to avoid criminal prosecution and a trial. They lobbied the libranos and in turn Jody WR. She apparently turned them down and that’s when the librano corruption machine kicked into high gear.

SNC-L is a criminal corporation. The LPC is their political equivalent. 1+1=2.

Will anybody go down? Maybe? I wonder what Chuck Guite is doing these days….

  22. Well its been said but Turdhole and Buttface aren’t going to jail and neither is any other Queerbeker… Liberals own this country… “This country it belongs to us”- Justine Turdhole… it sure does Justine… Imagine the hysterical reaction from the Media cartel if this latest Liberal Party scandal was a Conservative scandal instead… Turdhole and Buttface wear the Librano cloak of infallibility, it only works when you’re a Librano and it assures you will get away with anything.

  23. Will Someone in Trudeau’s Circle Go to Jail?
Nobody is going to jail, nobody is going to pay a fine or so much as receive a stern talking to, and the Liberals will be re-elected with a majority, possibly larger than last time. Canadians do not think and do not care.

  24. Short answer to question, not a chance. This will get swept under the rug and be forgotten by October.
