  1. come on folks, we have legal dope smoking, free needles for shooting up illegal drugs in free places where the police won’t arrest you. we have multiple justice systems where murderers get paid and walk free. where even the most heinous of crimes does not require the death penalty. free speech is curtailed and inciting violence in the name of your religion is considered ok. we are beyond crazy, we are flat out freaking insane.

    1. I agree completely. It annoys me that conservatives so often gripe about the legal system but still think law is to be respected.
Our system is fully grotesque and catastrophic. The whole thing has to go.

  2. One day the adjudicator may find him/her/itself (don’t want to offend the adjudicator 🙂 ) in a hospital. Hopefully the nurses will not steal his/her/its pain meds, and hopefully any surgeon operating will be fully sober.

But if any of the above happens to the adjudicator, then I really would not be upset.

  3. being a serial killer is a disease, they should let them out of jail and give them their job back

being a serial rapist is a disease, they should let them out of jail and give them their job back

being a mass shooter is a disease, they should let them out of jail and give them their job back

being a pedophile -rapist is a disease, they should let them out of jail and give them their job back

    they should be consistent

all criminals suffer from some disease, if they didn t they would not commit crimes

As a matter of fact, why don t they throw in jail all the people that don t have any mental disease and let all the sick criminals out?

Leftism is a mental disease. Feminism is his twin sister.

    1. CF, one a$$hole in the Netherlands was telling me that that is essentially the goal of those leftist fools over there. He was bragging how good the dutch socialist are, I unfriended him for his stupidity. My relatives over there thing they are right wing, and are as far left as many libtards over here:-(((

    2. I would be happy to lock Canada’s leftists up for life in institutes for the criminally insane, but the expense involved would be prohibitive.

Shoot them, cover them over with dirt, plant the seedlings for the future Victims of Globalism Memorial Forest on the spot and move on. To prevent the site from becoming a shrine, keep the general public away for a hundred years.

  4. Bad enough we still have drunk drivers on our roads killing people, we have hard druggies shooting up illegal drugs in province run so called safe injection sites with no evidence they are being taken in and offered the option of help or jail.

Now we have pot added to the problem with no plan on how to deal with it in the workplace, in the schools or on the roads.
We are on the way to being a doped up society just what the socialists want to control every aspect of our lives.

    1. LizJ, pot has not been added, it has been with us for over 50 years that I am aware of. And prescription dugs happen to be the biggest problem in Canada and the USA. Also, illegal hard drugs are starting to kill more and more, as they are becoming more powerful. Booze is also a much greater problem than MJ, and booze is the “gate way” drug that so many in here thing MJ is. The uninformed are a big problem, because lefties use that against those of us who want to work with the problem to help reduce drug abuse.

      1. Agree with you on all counts. Pot being made legal might mean an increase in use by younger kids.

Tobacco is still an issue with the kids, from tobacco to MJ..now they’re vaping the stuff leading to more addiction and health issues and big societal problems down the road.

        1. No Liz, legalization of pot won’t mean an increase in use by younger kids. If they decided to smoke dope,it was because someone “cool”, often an older sibling, smoked dope and had them try it.
There was also the “cachet” of doing something daring and illegal, in spite of their square old parents.

That’s gone now that smoking dope is legal, and that fact won’t convert anyone except a few old reefer madness types who might decide to try it now.

        2. Liz J,actually pot being sold by government has caused the private sellers to up the anti by “spiking” their pot, thusly making it lethal and addictive, which it was not before. Prior “addiction” was mostly psychological, rather than physiological.

      2. oh shyt no NME, water is the ‘gateway’ drug to use the ‘gateway’ excuse about pot being the ‘gateway’ to smack and meth etc. I dont know a single crackhead hasnt gulped a drink of water.

        see how that works? ‘gateway’.

  5. Whether it’s a disease or not is irrelevant, despite the apologist tone of the article. Don’t nurses have some sort of “duty of care”? She’s a selfish thief and a danger to herself and others. They were right to fire her, because she’s a bad nurse and a liability. If she had sought help instead of stealing and falsifying, this could all have been avoided….I have personal knowledge of someone who has received many more chances than are fair simply because he openly asked for help for his addictions.

That also ignores things like contractual obligations, which she also likely violated, and that she should have been charged instead of just fired.

      1. Dignity, schmignity. If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. Or something.

  6. Stealing drugs from terminally ill patients? How is that okay? The province needs to set some guidelines. I hope the arbitration award can be appealed. Charge her with a criminal offense.

  7. How many SDA’ers out there remember notorious “too drunk to know better”, where Canada’s corrupt Supreme Court rules that the drunk defence could be used in murder and rape trials to get culprits off free? I recall that the chief Supreme Court justice was the pro-crime Antonio Lamer. There was a hue and a cry back then — I think it was in the early 1990s — about this cruel, mesn-spirited ruling. The feminist lobby decried the ruling, defending rape victims as they do. And back then the national media cartel were less politically radical, and for the most part editorialized against the pro-crime ruling. I do not not know how Canada’s legislation has progressed to block that terrible decision, but I take it something was done.

One wonders what can be done against this nurse, in today’s outrage. Laws were broken, but then again our justice system is corrupt. There are few voices, these days, speaking out for iseniors and medically-ill prople.

    1. yep.

I was going to McMaster U at the time, and did an editorial shredding the legal arguement, that being, for a male to be ‘too drunk to be aware’, he would ALSO be too drunk to accomplish a stiffy in order to commit the rape.
there is NO overlap being too drunk and still get a hardon.
      none ever.
alcohol in large amounts is a DE-PRESS-ANT.
      there’s always a goddamn judgey-judge wanna set a precedent.

no one since has ever contradicted the counterpoint.

  8. And let’s not forget that “marijuana is medicine” … for all manner of ailments. And just look at Snoop Dog! See! You can ingest tons of da ganja and make $$ MILLIONS!! … and become a “mainstream” movie star.

Culture degeneration is a disease too.

    1. *
“kenji says let’s not forget that “marijuana is medicine”

and it makes you smarter AND better looking, bro!!!

      just ask unme.

  9. “…addiction is more similar to racism than to cancer, and more like violence or domestic abuse than cystic fibrosis or diabetes.”

Oh they had to get the racism thing in, didn’t they?

Racism is not a bad habit. It is a survival mechanism.

If you meet someone on the road you have not known your entire life, assume he is an enemy. The first time you let your guard down could be your last.

Ask the next of kin of anybody murdered by a Third World thug.

  10. addiction is a self induced problem, it is not now nor ever has been an illness. we have a country full of idiots who want to believe any nonsense that is shoved in their face. if you make a decision to be drunk, stoned or dead, it is your choice and it is not an illness, insanity is.

  11. speaking of drunk driving, wanna know how to murder in Canadistan and basically get away with it?
    practice driving drunk.
under controlled conditions, find out what amount of booze will put ya over the limit, and with practice, learn to ‘control’ the buzz and drive sorta normal.
    now, stalk yer target.
gulp the scotch, also get a couple self-serve breathalyzer gadgets.
when the target makes an appearance, run them over. now finish the bottle for good measure.
act the part all along. remorse, bla bla bla.
license suspension for sure, jail, oh, 3, 4 yrs tops, good chance even less with a good lawyer. NOT 20.
not hard at all to find slap on the wrist penalties for fatal drunk driving verdicts.

goddamn judegy-judges. for all we know this has already happened.
