The Myth of China as Superpower

J.R. Dunn;

China, we are told, is the coming nation. The second largest economy on Earth, soon to be the first. A billion and a half people, each more educated than any American; a military power second to none, with advanced weapons of a nature that we can only gape at. A country exercising its power over vast reaches of the Pacific and moving into the Indian Ocean, Africa, and the Mideast with no one to oppose it.

We hear this from the likes of Thomas Friedman, who has spent much of his career looking for his personal Mussolini. It’s repeated by deeper figures across the political spectrum. In fact, it can be said without exaggeration to have become received wisdom.

There’s no point in asking how true this is. The proper question to ask is whether it embodies any truth at all.

  1. The fragility of China is often discussed on The John Batchelor Show, particularly by his frequent guest Gordon Chang.

My own sense is that China could collapse just about any time. There’s a clear disparity between the poverty of the rural areas and the wealth of the cities. (So much for the redistribution of wealth under communism, eh?) In addition, there are ethnic resentments, similar to what happened in the former Yugoslavia. Tibet is one area that could easily go up in smoke without much provocation.

China is also making enemies in its neighbourhood. Building artificial islands in waters that don’t belong to it has rubbed some countries the wrong way. As well, claiming natural reefs and islands that are really another nation’s territory has also made things tense.

The apparent economic miracle is also an illusion. There are shopping centres with no customers and apartment blocks that are empty. Companies, such as Apple, are pulling up stakes and moving elsewhere, resulting in unemployment and idled factories.

In addition, there’s the “Make China Great Again” policy of Xi Jinping (who himself is in a shaky situation with the party).

It’s not going to end well.

A Canadian, Robert Lloyd Schellenberger is sentenced to death in China for drug smuggling.

WaPo says: “this is linked to Huawei row.”
      B.B.C: “Horrific”

As usual the P.M. says nothing about this basic dictatorship that can turn it’s economy around on a dime. If China’s situation is as dire, perhaps Trudeau should lend them our quantum computer so it can help them count all the gold that they have in reserve.

Can anyone explain what Trudeau said in the above link? Sound likes nothing …” We will continue to work, blah, blah…”

      1. Can anyone explain what Trudeau said in the above link?

        Air pudding and word salad.

        1. Robert Lloyd Schellenberger is as good as dead already. China always executes drug smugglers by lethal injection or by a firing squad. They executed a British national for the same crime in 2009, the first European since 1951, his name was Akmal Sheikh.

(There were many more from different nations executed.
          Filipinos, Uighurs, a female Kenyan)

Trudeau probably knows this too. Hence the zilch, zip, squat, nada, nothing, bupkis, bobek, nichts, air pudding, and word salad from him. Just a little lecture: don’t go there.

        1. Yes Boots, and he took to the cold air, chose to do this outside, in the terribly freezing Ottawa winter weather, it’s such a hardship, hiding behind a wooden podium with the glue failing from his left eyebrow…LOOK AT THAT, THAT EYEBROW WAS FALLING OFF, AH HA,HA!

Mérde alors, il est oubligé maintenant de trouver une autre éstheticienne. Hahaha! PAUVRE GARS.

          Campaign photo for sure!

      2. “Can anyone explain what Trudeau said in the above link?” I think the little potato boy, Mr. JustineTurdhole, along with his Media employees were performing a well rehearsed grade 8 level play called “press conference/ photo-op” play time… a nauseating spectacle, well rehearsed, a communal effort between the Turdhole Media and Captain Turdhole the actor… Turdhole is invited by his Media employees to blather his memorized scripted lines… then the docile obsequious taxpayer funded Media types politely sit back and listen to the cardboard cutout act out his lines… “Chinas actions are arbitrary” says the stump… Yes, says the Media we accept that answer unconditionally…. “The Liberal Party is awesome and serious”… and “this is a problem for the whole world”… blurts the Turdhole… the Media nod in complete agreement… Turdhole then puts on a prissy self satisfied sneering smile signifying the end of his performance, Ta Duh! The Media sigh with relief and joy, like proud parents… “can you blather all that same bullshit in french” says a State funded Media whore… the Turdhole nods affirmatively and begins to blather the same script again, but this time in frenchy talk… wow, what a performance… everyone listening and watching this trainwreck is left a little bit dumber and far more nauseous otherwise nothing has changed because nothing was said and one presumes that China is still Turdholes most admired country, because dictatorship… and scene.

      3. The amount of pro Chinese communist trolls flooding the comment section of that Global News clip is highly suspicious.

        1. I would put it this way, NOTHING suspicious at all. this is glaringly brazen, no doubt or uncertainty whatsoever. entirely expected.
the ottawa mandarins will take 20 friggin years to figure THAT out.
the suspicion is aimed at TURDoo and his henchmen.

      4. This is a good thing; henceforth, let it be known that anyone who does business with China, IS ON THEIR OWN. The Canadian government will not help you. The communist owned press will not champion you. The rule of law does not apply. The communist owned UN will not help you. The communist owned NGOs will not come to your assistance.

Doing business with China, is signing your own death warrant. So please, all you Liberal/Democrat/Labor/whatever socialist party in your country donors, get on a plane today, go there, AND JUST DO IT! Sign on with the party. PLEASE!

Your leader admires their basic dictatorship.

      5. I must have missed something. China is taking out Canada’s garbage, and we are upset about this because?

    2. I don’t think we will see a collapse of China, not of the type we would expect. They would just close everything off and let people die in any way possible. A dictatorial communist country is not going to collapse at least not visibly.

      1. I’m not so sure about that. It’s quite possible that there will be a civil war like there was a century ago and that it will be bloody and will last decades.

Tibet will be one region that will break away quickly if something happens. The Tibetans hate and despise the Chinese who invaded their country and would like nothing better than to be rid of them. The far west might also break away because of the Uyghurs.

China’s also made a lot of enemies with its illegal seizing of islands in the territorial waters of other countries. It’s clashed diplomatically with Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Viet Nam. The only friend it has in the region is North Korea and Rocket Man is a nut case.

In addition, any aggression against Taiwan will be treated as an attack on the U. S. Xi Jinping is a neo-Maoist and has, due to his arrogance and ideology, painted himself into a corner. He might be just dumb enough to make a move against Taiwan to, if nothing else, save his worthless hide.

May you live in interesting times, indeed.

        1. I completely agree. the thing about war and large lasting revolutions ANYTHING can happen. anything at all.
how many times has a cocky status quo bunch fallen off the cliff ‘when they least expect it’?
          iran?
          phillipines?
          russia 1917?
          America 1776?
          fwance 1789?
          etc up the wazzo.

the only ones really surprised are those who are not cognoscente of history’s message.

    3. It certainly won’t end well for China if every other Asian nation bands together and nuclearises, which is what they should do.

They may not care for the Americans but they will hate the Chinese more.

  2. China STEALS all of its technology. Communism doesn’t allow one to reap the rewards of risk, innovation. So they develop very little, in the name of new ideas.
    Screw em….

    1. I’m not surprised.

In the last 40 years, universities have taken over the role of industrial R & D that many companies used to do in-house themselves. Now those companies farm it out to academe.

Universities actively recruit grad students from over there, many of whom decide (or were “encouraged” to decide) to stay here and, perhaps, get hired as faculty. Now with all those trade secrets and proprietary information floating around campus, and with those same grad students and faculty likely in the pay of the PLA intelligence services, is it any wonder that many of the “innovations” coming out of China bear a strong resemblance to what’s already been done over here?

    2. If there was a way to force China to pay copyrights or royalty and fines for all the ideas they stole, at least half their wealth would be gone…they would be a third world country or close to being one.

Back in the 1990s I vaguely remember Dupont ( the paint people ) was trying to sue China because they had stolen many ideas from them ( I guess they were chemical formulas for various products )…There was also other companies who China was plagiarizing ( not the correct word I know ) their products

China also used to sell CD’s of North American artists, but the artists got zero royalty because those CDs were illegall copies sold illegally

The list goes on and on

If someone managed to put a stop to that, China would be a poor nation.

My opinion; someone should find a way to stop China from stealing intellectual property

      A crime is a crime

      1. thus the down side of farming production to chirer to ‘save money’ and ‘increase profits’.
which n american mfgs did by the thousands ‘encouraged by gubbamint’ led by the likes of cretien, harper, ALL of them
        clucking about trade deals..

    3. There is no doubt that Chinese hackers steal a lot of technology. But that has been going on for decades, and the people to blame are the corporate and military managers who cannot be bothered to implement real security.

Beyond that issue, it is simply not true that China steals all of its technology. Anyone familiar with graduate STEM programs in the US knows that a majority of all graduate students in them are foreign, and most of the foreigners are Chinese.

Graduate education is an apprentice program, and graduate students learn by doing. Chinese graduate students teach undergraduates, write research proposals, do research, derive theories, develop lab technology, speak at conferences and write papers for refereed journals. A great deal of the technology supposedly stolen was actually developed by Chinese graduate students.

Today China has more supercomputers than any other country, and until very recently they had the two fastest supercomputers, both built with Chinese chips and using Chinese operating systems. Recently, they put a rover on the back side of the Moon, something we never did. They have a manned space program. We don’t; we beg rides to the ISS from the Russians. They have the technology to put a man on the Moon. We can’t put one in low Earth orbit. China in fact has modern, high-tech factories and a highly skilled industrial work force. We have import companies like Apple and Walmart trying to fill store shelves. Where do you think your iPhone and iMac come from? Etc., etc., wake up.

The US is the country on the verge of Civil War II, not China. The US is the country that is over-extended with an incompetent, corrupt military that it can’t sustain, a military that cannot defeat Third World, lightly armed militias.

The one major advantage China has is a patriotic Ruling Class; ours is treasonous, corrupt and incompetent. We should be so lucky as to have a Xi in the White House. Trump will have to do for now. We could have had Hillary, whom a majority of Americans wanted.

      1. Almost everything you said is wrong or inexact.

it would take too long to take each of your two dozen points and explain what you got wrong.

but one thing, it is like you don t even know the USA was on the moon 50 years ago.
The USA CHOSE to spend money elsewhere and stopped going to the moon it is not that they don t have the technology.

They itch a ride because the USA government cut the budgets of NASA, not because they don t have the technology

Are you 16 years old or what ??

      2. Bob, they haven’t invented one thing since gunpowder and even that they didn’t know how to use it except for entertainment.
The Americans have ships that are leaving the solar system.
The Chicoms, like a lot of Asians, suffer from Group-Think. Ultimately its a dead end.

  3. The formulation of Ezekiel 38 and the Bear of Daniel 7…Russia, Turkey, Iran forced to confederate power. If China is weakened, Russia has no choice but to join the confederacy…Islamunism.

Brzezinski’s Ghost Shapes Washington Eurasia Geopolitics
    https://journal-neo.org/2018/05/14/brzezinski-s-ghost-shapes-washington-eurasia-geopolitics/

Going back to my title, I quote from the 1997 book of the late Presidential advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and its Geostrategic Imperatives to make the point of what US foreign and defense policy under Trump today is. It is nothing less than application of the Brzezinski geopolitical challenge and the preventive war notion of the Bush-Wolfowitz doctrine in context of today’s emerging resistance to an American sole superpower domination.

Brzezinski, was of course architect of Jimmy Carter’s Afghan war against the Soviet Army using Mujahideen Islamic terrorists trained by the CIA, Saudi Intelligence and Pakistan ISI.

In 1997 he wrote that it was “imperative that no Eurasian challenger emerges, capable of dominating Eurasia and thus of also challenging America.” He further declared, “Potentially the most dangerous scenario would be an ‘anti-hegemonic’ coalition united not by ideology but by complementary grievances…a grand coalition of China, Russia, perhaps Iran…Averting this contingency…will require US geostrategic skill on the western, eastern, and southern perimeters of Eurasia simultaneously.”

When we add to this the recent Pentagon National Defense Strategy document that defines Russia and China as the greatest potential threat to American hegemony, then combine this with the growing ties between Russia, China and Iran since lifting of sanctions in 2015, especially in Syria, it becomes clear what Washington is doing. They are in an all-out effort to break what I call the Eurasian Challenge to the sole hegemon—Russia, China, Iran.

As Brzezinski pointed out, for American purposes of continued domination, it matters not that there are ethnic, religious and other differences between Russia, China and Iran. US foreign policy since September 2001 has increasingly forced those three to cooperate, despite those differences, for what they see as defense of their national sovereignty.

  4. We should pay attention to China’s population demographics.

    a) age distribution – China will run into problems taking care of an aging population.

    b) male to female ratio – I believe it is on the order of 120 men to 100 women.

Both of the above will affect China. I could speculate how, but I’ll have to give it more thought before I have anything intelligent to comment.

  5. The article left out a massive leftist narrative about China’s supposed POWER over America … they OWN US!! China OWNS America’s debt, ensuring we give fealty to our Masters for generations to come!! so says their pro-Communist American admirers. China uses its 29% share of American paper debt to manipulate its own currency, and trade imbalance. American corporations (now, almost entirely operated by leftists) are more than happy to play along … providing jobs and an expanding middle class for the Chinese people. It’s the ideal economic symbiotic relationship, which figures primarily in-favor of the Commies. Suffice to say that if China sold off its American debt, it would only hurt itself. Trump is dealing with the problem from another angle, by counteracting China’s Yuan manipulation through trade rebalance. Thus DARING the Dragon-Chinese to destroy their own economy by allowing the tariffs to stand. China has -0- option but to bow-deeply before MY President. Winning!!!

    1. One thing Beijing didn’t count on was Trump winning the election. If nothing else, he’s disrupted China’s plans for the U. S. Already, we see plants closing and moving elsewhere, some even back to North America.

The result is a lot of people out of work at all levels. Many rural people have migrated to the cities in order to find jobs by which to supplement their meager farm incomes. There’s a well-educated class that might leave the country to find suitable work.

The Chinese economic miracle will finally be seen for what it really is: an illusion.

    2. What’s that saying? “If you owe the bank $100 that’s your problem. If you owe the bank $100 million, that’s the bank’s problem.”
China owns our debt! Oh noes!!
Yeah, they could get screwed really badly over that. I’d like to see it.

  6. Oh No! China has warned little potato to stop trash talking China. They better be careful, Justin has those used jets from Australia now. Hopefully this doesn’t stop the commies from attending his fundraisers. But then Great Leader Groper always has George Soros and that muslim conman sitting on his private island to fall back on.

    1. OJ, McTure could always send the head of department of “wanna fight”, with new head rag, and he could beet the chicoms single handed

  7. Remember when Trudeau had dinner with a couple Chinese billionaires and within a week …
“Of the $1 million donated to the University of Montreal and the Trudeau foundation to honour the former prime minister, $200,000 went to the foundation, $750,000 went to the University of Montreal’s law faculty for scholarships and $50,000 went to fund the statue, according to The Globe and Mail. ”
Canada is a faux nation compared to China.
The US would slaughter the Chicoms in war.

    1. Justin has made sure that China owns Canada.

This is why it is interesting to watch as Justin squirms between irrelevance and appeasement of the Americans or the Chinese. On one hand, he realises what useless little toady he is. On the other, he has two giants (paper or otherwise) who can make life very difficult for him in an election year.

      Get your popcorn ready.

  8. From the posted articke: “Thomas Friedmann, who has spent much of his career searching for his prersonal Mussolini”.

What a great line! It made my cold January day.

  9. Please don’t bother truedope…….he’s much too busy rehearsing for his cameo on Corner Gas . I think he is looking forward to some form of employment after October ……Oh wishful thinking ….

  10. Millions of Chinese men coerced into caring for their parents because they’ve aborted the girls, and who have never actually kissed a woman may leave millions of angry aging men… Those silicone sex dolls don’t cook, mend, or clean house, and they’ll look into their future and see no son or daughter to help them as well.
They’re a disorganized lot though, it’s not like they’re going to unionize and demand women where there isn’t any to have.

There is the possibility of a society that’s always cited “respect” amongst the generations, then unravelling as it pushes its boundaries of nationhood into other’s sovereign lands. It wouldn’t be the first time foreign nations have taken military deep into China. It’s a great shame, the century of humiliation that China’s history still teaches in schools. Will they enter a new century of humiliation? Those jets they’ve copied don’t fly like the originals do, it’ll take them a decade to figure out how to fight from aircraft carriers, and it’s not something they’ll learn of by practice. They’ll need a skirmish to prove their expertise. Will they overplay their hand?

I doubt the Chinese saw the rise of Trump though, they’d likely planned on Clinton to be at the helm, and this is a new ball game entirely.
It’s unfortunate that Canada’s military is a decade behind, but you don’t get much hardware (or respect) for 1.2% of GDP.

Has anyone told our garbage PM that the Chinese think he’s an idiot?

      1. Rape culture in action. My thought is they’ll provoke a war somewhere, where their end condition is “status quo ante bellum”, to send off a million or two extra boys of them to get slaughtered.

          1. Brutal efficiency is a hallmark of Chinese progress. And I say this with a Chinese wife and respect for a lot of the non-Communist parts of China and its culture.

    1. you sir, despite it being only Wednesday, win the prize for the funniest and most accurate post on SDA for the week.

    2. Telling him that would probably make his socks curl, and we can’t have that. That everyone can see it but him is rather a bit of circular QED in action.

  11. The stone that the builders reject will become the cornerstone. The same globalists who lick the arse of the dragon call Israel a “shitty little country.”

The dragon WILL be slain, and Israel will be the first to desecrate its corpse before going at last to take her rightful place as queen of all nations—with Christ as her King—and to exact justice on all who tormented her and defied her God.

Among the delights I hope to enjoy in the other world is the sight of Chairman Xi being deep-fried in oil like a wonton.

  12. Volkswagen Announces Additional Plant with 1,000 New Jobs in Chattanooga, Tennessee – $800 Million Investment in New Production Line…

What has PM Zoolander done for his people today?

  13. Find me a Liberal/Socialist who doesn’t love/admire China? Trudeau has already said it, it’s on record. They can talk human rights until the cows come home but will continue to do business with that Commie state. Is there any real evidence the Chicoms even care for human life? When they kill a person by firing squad do they make their relatives pay for the bullet?

Front man Trudeau and company are up to anything, expect all kinds of trick playing as we march on to election day. We are in deep trouble if we have another term of their regime. I’m sorry to be so crass but they are really a bunch of arseholes of the highest order.

    1. Back in the day, was there a progressive or socialist that didn’t love or at least have an affinity for early Hitler and Mussolini?

They’re drawn to dictators who “get things done.” It seems good at first then goes horribly wrong, but by then it’s too late.

For further elucidation I recommend the prescient warnings of the Hayek’s 1944 “The Road to Serfdom” (which I am enjoying now) and Eric Fromm’s 1941 “Escape from Freedom.”

Is it deja vu all over again, with DeMarxists flipping their own political power coin? That depends on the Trump revolution.

Marxism. Fascism. Gosh they meld together well. Progressivism is a derivative of Marxism not Liberalism; they’re antithetical.

  14. Having been 3 times to Hong Kong starting in 1994 and a trip throughout China in 2014 it was amazing to see the disappearance of its children. Our guide for our 23 day trip had one son, he was required to take a musical instrument and study hard to get into the best schools. I agree with the article pointing out that the Chinese have got used to having a small family . He noted that the momma-san of your bride, if you could find one, wanted the 3 C’s, a car, a condo and a child. The whole country seemed to be brand new with airports, high speed rail and buildings of apartments and commercial centres.

    1. David, I have also been to China 3 times, to Hong Kong but also to Mainland China. There are lots of children. The one child system was put into place in 1980 and was revised to 2 children in 2016. The men subjected to this are turning 40. If it was a disaster wouldn’t something have happened by now? Are all the men without wives waiting until they are 50 to rebel?

There were always several exceptions to the 1 child rule including rural Chinese and other groups. It is estimated that the 1 child rule only applied to about 35% of the population. Also, if you had money you could apply to have a second child. A friend of mine from Beijing did just this about 15 years ago and has 2 happy children.

The fertility rate in China (1.62) is not much different than in the US (1.80) or Canada (1.60). We think that we solved our aging problem through immigration. But what is the greater problem? Allowing people into your country who do not share your values or allowing your own people to grow old with less young people to look after them? I don’t see the Japanese (1.44 fertility rate) dying in the streets but I do see a lot of strife in London, Paris and parts of Germany.

    2. Should also be pointed out that Hong Kong was exempt from the China one-child policy.

  15. Rampant greed of Western nations is what keeps China going. Environmentalists are not concerned about the terrible pollution that requires their people to wear masks when they continue to do business with companies who use their cheap labour for big profits, absolute hypocrites.
We pay a carbon tax whlie we shut down our economy and keep China in business. Moe Strong would be proud indeed.

Human rights organizations are silent which makes them players as well.

Why are we importing food and drugs made in China? Check your supermarket produce….I found garlic from China…didn’t buy it and complained to the owner. We need to get active as individuals to change all this crap.

      1. Because they have lots of money and they are the world’s second largest economy. China is Canada’s second largest trading partner just ahead the UK and Japan. Why would this be surprising? The larger the economy the greater the trade. Google “Albania trade with Canada”.

          1. I always figured they printed it. ISTR that being a popular theory back in the 80s or so.

    1. follow the money.
I stopped buying chirese garlic the first time I tried it for a host of reasons, including big uncertainty about product quality.

  16. You would think for the $9.2million the government gives them every year, they might get treated better…. /s

  17. Comment at 11:15am was from me, I have no idea where “L” came from.
Canada needs to boot out the Chinese Ambassador, he insulted us. We cannot tolerate such ignorant arrogance. The Trudeau cabal has issued a warning to Canadians to Canadians going to China, it’s a start but will not mean anything to arrogant commies, they know business will continue.

    1. If we all vote for Maxime Bernier this October we will put all this bs in our rear view mirror.

    2. Liz J, Have you noticed that the MSM is focusing more and more on what Saudi Arabia and China are doing and less and less on what the Federal Government of Canada is doing. This is an election year. Google what goes on in India. It is far worse than what happens in China. And yet all the criticism from Trudeau’s India trip was on costumes and not on problems in India (e.g. untouchables, caste system, government corruption). The Trudeau government is trying to keep us outraged on China and not on Canadian problems like pipelines, inter-provincial trade, First Nations, carbon taxes etc.

  18. “a military power second to none”.
I strongly disagree. The PRC cannot even build a high vectoring thrust jet engine; most “cutting edge” Gen 4, Gen 4.5 fighter jets have 2 engines (except the J-10, that’s a “light” fighter). The PLAN is 20 years behind the USA, they needed to reverse engineer their first aircraft carrier – which is one key reason they started dredging the SC sea to build islands for air bases. I also hear that morale in the PLA kinda sucks right now.

  19. Actually, the Chinese communists think they are the masters of the universe.
It is common among Chinese to call everyone who is not, a barbarian.
The dilemma here is that the Chinese think themselves to be superior in pure numbers (true) and in might (not necessarily true).
The danger here is that they may miscalculate and the end result may not be that good, what ever the outcome.

If anybody remembers the cultural revolution, late 60’s or so of the past century.
In the socialist paradise the story was that because there are so many of them they, the Chinese, could start a nuclear or any other mayhem and win simply by the count of numbers. They would lay the waste to the rest of the world and if a few million of them died, it would have been an acceptable collateral damage of hardly any significance.

Now before you start calling BS, this is what we were told while in the military and the in newspaper stories.
The Chinese communists were not loved by the soviet apparatus at the time and the rest of the countries ruled by communists, of necessity had to follow the ruling.
The Ruskis did not like the position that Chinese would go for their own brand of communism and would not submit to the Ruskis.

  20. Yankee Thinker’s take on the cold war scare of the USSR is quite disingenuous. It wasn’t just communists, leftists, socialists and their fellow travellers who spread the myth of the USSR’s invincibility, it was mostly done by the USA and their military/industrial complex, who stood to gain and gain some more from having a BIG SCARY enemy over there who will destroy us if we don’t waste trillions on Defence and make billionaires of those defence contractors.

In the 1950’s and 60’s,I never saw or heard a single spokesman from NATO, the American government or the defence industry question whether the USSR was as powerful as our propagandists claimed they were. All the so-called intelligence agencies played along and exacerbated our fears. We kids in Prairie shitholes lived every day with the “certainty” that at any time “The Russians” could attack and it was only due to the genius and preparedness of our glorious leaders that they didn’t.
There was money to be made from fear mongering the USSR, just like now there is money to be made fear mongering over CAGW/Climate Change.
“The enemy” changes, the object of the fear mongering does NOT.

China may be a house of cards, but I wouldn’t compare the USSR and China too closely, China is lead by far better thinkers than the Stalinists.

    1. spot on sir.

note how the focus shifted to the war on, er, on, er, uh, drugs. ya, drugs. pot is a far worse threat to freedom and democrapcy than soviet submarines. ya, ya, thats it. drugs. yo joint chief !!! we found our new black knight !!!

  21. there is way too much going on in the nation of the biggest population to say anything definitive.
re the death penalty, meh, a teensie blip.
anybody recollect the aussies executed for drug smuggling by malaysia?
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barlow_and_Chambers_execution

even mags thatcher pleaded because, well, western whites. stoooopid c*nt.

imagine a jap missile achieving mach 50 by the time it hits beijing. gawd love them, if anybody could pull that off its japan.

    1. Today Harry Truman could have levelled every city in Japan in a single night. A nuclear pre-emptive strike against China would remove all meaningful threats to American national security in a matter of hours.

China’s nuclear arsenal, intended for a future war against Russia, would at best take out a few cities in California that nobody would miss.

What is President Trump waiting for? Permission from George Soros?
