A tech Billionaire, an Obama admin tech advisor, and an ex-Justice Department official conspired to manipulate big tech platforms to spread false flags & divide the Alabama electorate to help the Democrat win. https://t.co/8xqQZIVvSP

The New York Times story is infuriating in its efforts to downplay what happened here. (Just hit the ‘esc’ key a few times as it loads to bypass the page blocker) This story would be front page, hang-the-bastards international news had it been the Trump administration.

No way for the Americans to fix this without bullets and bombs. Voting under a universal franchise system is done. The Chinese have it right I am afraid. You don’t get to be a 2000 year old country without knowing a thing or two about what makes a nation survive. The US is no longer a nation. It will soon break apart into warlord-driven factions, and I suspect Lebanon in the 1980’s is the future of most Western nations now.
The secret project, carried out on Facebook and Twitter, was likely too small to have a significant effect on the race, in which the Democratic candidate it was designed to help, Doug Jones, edged out the Republican, Roy S. Moore
Do the leftist twits at the NYT’s actually READ what they write? They claim, simultaneously, in a single sentence that the secret project was “too small” to have an effect on a close … “edged out” election. Isn’t that JUST the kind of an election where SMALL things matter? Nevermind … I know leftists don’t think logically, so this fact is completely lost on them.
And they cite the $100k spent on this online “deception” was too small to have an impact on an election where the candidates spent $51M … yet want you to believe the $100k spent by “The Russians” completely turned the US election to Trump where $1B was spent.
Again, self-awareness, logic, and maths aren’t characteristic of the left. Which is why Trump is POTUS … and likely will be for the next 6-years of their sad, little, lives.
But $5,000 in Russian money caused Shillary to lose.
Hoffman, sounds like a menonite to me!!!
Not. Probably German heritage and atheist. 😉
I wonder how many other “small experiments” the Democrats conducted to win other close races. Post election day wins for trailing Democrats to suddenly come out ahead come to mind.
Bdsm may well be right. Reasonably fair elections may well be a thing of the past. The Roman Praetorian Guard had nothing on these guys.
As an Alabama resident, I don’t think this scandal swung the election on its own. But combine this with the dumbassery of the Republican Campaign Committee and it’s less than stellar leader, Mitch McConnell, you have the makings of a win for the dumocrats. There were a few really good people running for this job – as Repubs. Mo Brooks comes to mind. The McConnell money eviscerated and demonized a good man in Brooks leaving nothing but an appointed loser, who was temporarily serving, to run against Roy Moore, another big time loser and an embarrassment in Alabama politics. The whole story about hustling girls at the mall was so outlandish that it will never hold up. But it stuck. That’s all that mattered.
I don’t believe BDSM is right. We aren’t going to lose control of elections. Might stumble here and there but now we know. We can smell this crap coming now.
In other words, the only pro-Trump social media disinformation campaign was the DNC’s, in favour of the only Republican candidate that (the DNC was sure) wouldn’t wipe the floor with Hillary Clinton.
And she still lost.
Mr. Morgan said he could not account for the claims in the report that the project sought to “enrage and energize Democrats” and “depress turnout” among Republicans, partly by emphasizing accusations that Mr. Moore had pursued teenage girls when he was a prosecutor in his 30s.
All in the interests of science, you understand. And if such rumours harmed Moore’s marriage, well that’s a small price to pay.
Indictments? Handcuffs? Perp walks? Jail cells? No?
Zzzzzzzz
