Heather MacDonald is an avid proponent of ‘proactive policing’ ie stop n’ frisk ie a police state where the 4A ceases to be. This supposed ‘dealer of facts’ spent the last few years hyping a trivial increase in crime that has reversed and disingenously used it to try and restore stop n’ frisk to NYC.

I listened to a lot of that podcast.
I was hugely impressed with Heather MacDonald’s cold hard facts.
I quit mid-way because I could no longer take the milquetoast Jonathan McKay’s barely disguised sneers.
At one point he asks her if she is angry in her book.
Because as we all know liberals are all sweetness and light, don’t get angry, don’t hate.
Coincidentally his desperate plea to absolve immigrants of higher crime rates reminded me of our UnMe who recently pointed out that — gasp — some commenter or pundit didn’t even — gasp — have a DIVERSITY, um, UNIVERSITY Degree.
I wondered: is UnMe McKay. Other times, is UnMe Doug Saunders. Same kind of higher moral ground sneering.
Oh, mother Barbara McKay thinks her son’s a pretentious ass, I seem to recall.
