  1. it is not immigrants who are enriching our culture, it us who are enriching them with the free stuff we give them

diversity is not our greatest strength, it is making us weaker and poorer and weaker and poorer…with the billions and billions of dollars we spend on people that give nothing in return

  2. in Europe the taxpayer cost per Somali migrant was calculated to be 250,000 euros on average, with other countries of origin not far behind. This truth-to-power iconoclastic heresy cost the very bright academic author his career of course. Diversity, as long as you do not divert from the elite’s approved hymnal. The ever increasing cost of living to pay for this suicidal crap, is why most legacy inhabitants are becoming despondent. Peugeot flambé anyone?

      1. hb, think I know who is alluded to here
Try this link, it is for the ex prof
He studied mathematics, and later sociology, which naturally led to some interesting things from a unique perspective
Some things are in English, enough to find more if you like to do so.

      2. I rarely provide links and my suggestion to those who want one is, look it up, you have a computer.

  3. “More than 7-in-10 California Immigrant Households Are on Welfare”

And most of them have jobs. Under the table, of course.

  4. I’m looking forward to someone presenting this fact to gerry riviera. There will be tears of rage. And snot bubbles of blubbering about saintly pedro and maria who are just dying to cut my grass and wash my dishes.

  5. “If it helps subsidize the cost of my winter vegetables, nuts and fruit, keep it up California” think far too many people.
    You reap what you sow.

  6. some people actually think it is not quite as bad in Canada. there is a word for that, delusional.

  7. But, it’s only the first generation that sucks on the welfare teat. All subsequent generations are doctors and rocket scientists, dontca know. Generational welfare dependence is mostly unknown. Yeah.

    1. I actually worked on a project for a nice, hard working Mexican immigrant … who was BUILDING and IMPROVING our State. Great guy, and I was happy to work on his project. But his two sons were both in jail … and probably would be for life. He lamented openly that his sons disrespected America by being a burden on the good people of our country. So much for the generational myth.

  8. Of course. Ultimately Third Worlders get the living wage you are denied and then some.

Our masters have only one task for which they strongly prefer desperate whites—to go fight in wars to maintain the steady flow of oil from the Middle East to China, from which your sons are expected to come back crippled, insane or not at all.

  9. I dare any patriotic white American to cruise down any LA street with Springsteen’s ‘Born in the USA’ blaring from their vehicle. I doubt it would be long before they were ‘Reginald Denny’d’ by some friendly and grateful Hispanic ‘locals’.

If the righteous, self-loathing white SJW’s don’t get to you first.

    1. In my last drive through downtown LA … I thought I had been transported to the hard streets of some decaying slum in the heart of Bogata. To paraphrase Chrissy Hynde …

      I went back to Californo
      But my city was gone
There was a high speed train station
      There was no downtown
      Pico and Rivera had disappeared
      All my favorite places
My city had been pulled down
      Reduced to homeless encampments
Ay, oh, way to go, Californo

Well, I went back to Californo
      But my family was gone
I stood on the back porch
      There was nobody home
      I was stunned and amazed
      My childhood memories
      Slowly swirled past
Replaced by a caravan of dependent Hondurans
Ay, oh, way to go, Californo

      I went back to California
      But my pretty countryside
Had been invaded by homeless illegals
By a government that had no pride
      The farms of California
      Had been withered by Brown
And Mexican Muzak filled the air
      From Manteca to Yosemite Falls
Said, ay, oh, way to go, Californo

      1. I grew up in BC’s Okanagan Valley and at a pretty young age adopted my mom’s habit of falling asleep to the radio. Late at night we got quite clearly some San Fran stations, among others. (On a side note, my staunch British war-bride mother became a Yes fan after hearing them interviewed by a Catholic priest one night). We also shared a love of those countless 70’s TV shows that showcased the beauty, opportunity and utopian lifestyles California once offered. It was the land of hope and dreams.

It’s a goddam shame what liberal policies have done to destroy much of what made California great. I can’t fathom how difficult it must be watching this shit(literally, unfortunately) happen in front of your eyes.

        1. The homeless encampments are literally EVERYWHERE! There are big homeless encampments under nearly EVERY freeway overpass. I suspect a large chunk of our taxes and CalTrans workers are dedicated to seeing after these poor refugees. You know … it’s a “human rights” issue … not a “border” or “immigrant” issue. Sanctuary freeways, don’t you know.

  10. Please Lord! I fervently pray … help me escape CA (at full retirement age) … BEFORE … the coming day(s) of fiscal reckoning when the State budget is exposed as the smoke and mirrors of accounting trickeration. Please let me escape BEFORE all taxes double, and all property values plummet as the Communist State comes to collect taxes like a drunken French President.

California’s promises of “sanctuary” for the world’s poor, and Mexican invaders far exceeds the residents ability to pay. The supermajority Leftist Legislature learned NOTHING from CA’s last Recession. Unfunded Public employee pensions are swelling, “Green” spending run amok, and Universal Healthcare for all is coming to destroy The Late Great State of California.

  11. I’ma waiting for unDork to post in here and call bullshit. Should happen once it quits crying it’s river.

  12. I was struck by this comment in the article:
“Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of households headed by native-born Americans use welfare in California.”
    “only”???
    Seems very excessive.

    1. Lots of “urban” single mothers on the dole. The “new” definition of “family”doncha know … ? Mother, child, … and taxpayer.
