Is okay with their consent for medical reasons, or perhaps fashion, but since these are genitals, it is a sexual act which the children can not consent to… perhaps everyone who does this should be charged with sexual assault and be place on a registry for life as well. No more of a stretch than this judges ruling that it did not involve interstate commerce or trade.

          One wonders if states could legalize certain murders so long as it was done in state for free. Didn’t they call that lynching?

Federal law has been interpreted to say it is a civil rights violation to be required to prove who you are to vote while it is not a civil rights violation to employ deceit or violence to sexually mutilate somebody. Something’s out of kilter. Is the judge too stupid to realize this is the same as cutting off a man’s pecker?

  8. From the CBC Documentary channel, here is a documentary about the highly sought-after Matt “Kroc” what’s-his-name, a 250-lb musclebound man who transitioned into a 250-lb musclebound woman. For some bizarre reason, the new hydrant-shaped weightlifter suffered through one or two discriminatory words or acts — hence this movie documenting his (her, its?) difficulties. We should be told about this!

    On the U.S. cable channels in Canada, the Ceeb has been heavily promoting this documentary as one-minute spot ads (go on the link to see it) — so even those of us who carefully avoid the CBC get to see the she-hulk in action, ad nauseum. Out tax dollars at work:

    2. He’s probably right, though. Disenchanted NDP voters won’t vote for Conservatives. Not now, not ever. They’ll vote Liberal, or maybe Green, or maybe sit right out. Plus, a weak NDP means left-leaning Liberals who might give them a vote, won’t, and will instead stay with Liberal candidates. Add all that up and you get Liberals sucking up more of the left-wing vote than if the NDP were strong, which gives them a nice cushion on losing any from their right.

      I said when Justin won that he’d be PM for 8 years, minimum, and I’ve seen nothing from either the NDP nor Conservatives to make me go back on that, no matter how much of a doofus he is.

      Hell, all three party leaders suck right now. Not one of them should be PM.

        The oil patch will come back but not before governments correct the regulatory landscape and that includes taxes. The O&G industry is completely mobile and doesn’t wince at operating with third world dictators. They have shareholders to protect. It will take a change of government both provincially (BC and AB) as well as the feds.

        In the meantime Ontario should start a BDSM against the quebek traitors. My old Mom had one going for decades. Refused to deal with anything from quebekie. I have carried on but the rest of Canada should sign on. They want us to support them but do nothing to support TROC.

    British Columbia’s premier said on Tuesday his government will introduce legislation next year that will require all new light-duty cars and trucks sold in the province by 2040 to be electric or zero-emission vehicles.Premier John Horgan said the government will phase in the sales targets, which apply only to new vehicles. They will start at 10 percent by 2025, rising to 30 percent by 2030 and 100 percent by 2040.

    1. Oh, that’ll go over well in NE B. C. where my house is located. The climate in the area is similar to that of Edmonton and most of the people are either farmers or working for the oil and gas industry. They need their motor vehicles to get around and a Muskmobile won’t do it.

      The more I see what’s going on in Lotusland, the more I’m convinced that B. C. needs to break up into at least 2 separate provinces. LL has absolutely no clue of what life is like beyond Hope, is proud of that fact, and takes any and every measure to ensure that it remains ignorant. LL does not reflect what goes on in, say, the Peace River block, nor does it have any intention of changing.

    2. Once B. C. inflicts proportional representation upon itself, the province will become ungovernable. The watermelons and the Dippers, if they won’t run the show, will make sure that whatever right-wing party is in charge can’t get anything done.

      Hongcouver will remain blissfully ignorant, believing that it is in the best of all possible worlds.

    Not a bad article but you should dig in the weeds for some interesting clues, such as:

    a) a growing number of homicides [are] in rural areas, […] 148 homicide victims in rural areas [out of a total 660 Canada-wide];

    b) about a quarter of homicide victims in Canada are Indigenous, despite the fact that Indigenous Canadians make up just five per cent of the population

    The above were reported as if unrelated. But I would bet that rural = reservation or more likely just off reservation.

    Bloomberg wouldn’t do that if Bloomberg thought a breakup would fix Facebook the way it needs fixing.

    The same people will own the Baby Facebooks as own Ma Facebook now. They are mostly people who have scant interest in the preservation of western civilization.

    What has Facebook done to deserve breakup? Easy. Facebook allegedly helped put Donald Trump in the White House—and help Myanmar solve its Muslim problem for good measure. Bloomberg somehow has a problem with both those things.
