4. I see many comments about why the Mexicans are bothered now? Well, first, I expect the Mexicans further South were glad to see them go as they moved North and now in Tijuana, there is nowhere for them to go as the US is not going to tolerate them. Second, apart from the burden that falls on Tijuana as they cannot pass them off to somewhere else, and the lawlessness and dirt that must accompany them, I expect the Tijuanans themselves are also being affected by harsher border controls as a result.
