   1. The Mueller investigation is their primary tool to try to discredit Trump. If Trump succeeds in getting the investigation closed down, that would be a real triumph. I believe it has been a real travesty of justice.

9. Dems are now demanding that Whitaker recuse himself. They claim he is biased because he once expressed an opinion about the investigation — I think something along the lines of being explicit about what should be covered. I guess Rod Rosenstein does not want to report to anybody at all. Well, too bad. Having an opinion is not the same as having a conflict of interest. In fact everyone has an opinion on this. I hope Whitaker brings some long-overdue sanity to the process. I suspect Session was blackmailed to force compliance. That is how they keep control. If they have nothing on Whitaker with which to blackmail him and if he balks at recusing himself — as he should — then he would be wise to hire a food tester.

       Democrats are now the government, and so are allied to the White House.
       Republicans are now the Loyal Opposition, and so are free to criticize the government.

       President Trump is freed of electioneering distractions, and already executing his authority in other important arenas.
       Many weird matters involving judicial, legislative and executive facets of American governance
