I, Napoleon

Slaves of the State and of political correctness;

Today, the oppression of political correctness, decided by the global power agenda of noisy, powerful and organized minorities, is trying to stifle the once sacred freedoms of conscience, opinion and expression in an era in which free and truthful journalism is all but gone and in which social networks, the most dangerous societal control weapon ever invented, impose their slogans and release their hordes to lynch the dissident. New totalitarian ideologies want to dominate as new state religions of mandatory belief. Such is the case of the absurd and manifestly unscientific gender ideology (that would just be another stupid fad were it not for its goal of deceiving the youngest in order to “enslave their soul”), or of the ideology of the also unscientific and superstitious climate catastrophism. Not content with controlling our actions and appropriating our money through abusive taxation, the tyrants of today’s democracies seek to control what we believe and what we feel (and particularly, what we fear!).

  1. It’s all Petunia Turd’les “dad’s” fault.. Where one person can defeat the majority. The tyranny of one pissy person opposing many..Not well explained, but I’m sure you wise folk will get thge drift.

  2. Fernando del Pino Calvo-Sotelo says it well. He is so right. Trump, Brexit, other recent resistant votes in Europe, maybe the vote in Brazil today, are all manifestations of the feelings, fear, and pain many marginalized peoples in the west are feeling today.

The short video below, explains, in my mind at least, why our western societies have arrived where we are.

There is a main culprit and he has been dead for over a hundred years.

    1. Further, it is not just political correctness that was spawned by Marxism, but also the same groups pushing PC have a similarly spawned prescription for commerce. Go to the 14 minute mark of the video I just linked.

  3. I agree that politicians and bureaucrats (with assistance from the media, academics and big tech) are eroding personal freedom and basic human rights. Free expression, due process and privacy are the big three being eroded the fastest.

The inevitable downfall for authoritarians *is* the addictive nature of power. Once they hit their manic, abusive stage people revolt. We can see this in the rise of populism. In my opinion, populism is a direct result of the ruling and chattering class’ complete failure to listen and understand other points of view. The rise of populism is because of the woke left and its increasing unhinged authoritarianism.

The woke can force people to say and do things (including legal persecution) but they can not force them to believe it : women can have a penis, men can give birth, hoop earrings are cultural appropriation, free expression is violent and oppressive, reason and science are tools of the patriarchy, constant surveillance is doubleplus good, due process and presumption of innocence are products of evil whiteness, taxes can control the weather/climate, etc.

In the end, the woke left authoritarians lose moral and intellectual authority by insisting crazy shit is true and then demanding compliance…or else. They lose cultural power as more and more people mock them. Finally they lose political power to the despised populists.

The woke left will lose power without ever acknowledging or even understanding where they went wrong.

    1. Well said, and thank you. The word “populism” was eluding me in my thoughts in my comment.

      1. Like I’ve said before, if our moral and intellectually superior ruling and chattering class cannot be trusted on obvious issues, like being able to differentiate between males and females, then they should not be trusted in more complicated issues like economics, science, politics and the legal matters. Their ability to reason has been compromised by their ideological, almost religious, zeal. Appeals to authority won’t work if the hoi polloi know the “experts” are off their rocker. They’ll turn to other people to restore sanity. Right now that appears to be populists.

    2. Theodore Dalrymple discusses these lies of the state or lies of the culture he says:

Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

There are people in Russia who defend those lies today. As for us, we accept the lies of political correctness a little more each day.

  4. The people who left the Russian Pogram’s in the 1880’s and along with all the other European Refugees built the America “Graet Experiment” do not deserve this politicized abhorrence. As was the abandonment of the Jews from Europe abadonned by the Political Establishment of the Day.

  5. The more they lose, the worse and more desperate their totalitarians instincts become, more shrillness coercion and violence.

So buckle up folks as the Trump coronally win, win, win, takes hold.

Dems go all in on Trump’s fault no matter the violence visited upon the people, unable to disentangle themselves from election partisanship. Don’t be surprised if the van man fake bomber blows up in their faces too.

This constant pivoting between racism, sexism and guns is becoming their undoing as voters notice a fixation with power rather than issue, their benefit or political virtue.

I’m sensing a Dem loss in the HofR which will presage a deep, possibly generational decline and a steep uptick in political violence.

  6. The modern social frame work is that whites have responsibilities while non-whites have entitlements.

Every migrant thus represents a new marginal burden. One more person you must praise and provide for as they insult and demand

    Opposition shouldn’t be a surprise.

    Comment not mine.

A decline in courage may be the most striking feature which an outside observer notices in the West in our days. The Western world has lost its civil courage, both as a whole and separately, in each country, each government, each political party, and, of course, in the United Nations. Such a decline in courage is particularly noticeable among the ruling groups and the intellectual elite, causing an impression of loss of courage by the entire society. Of course, there are many courageous individuals, but they have no determining influence on public life.
    ………..
Political and intellectual bureaucrats show depression, passivity, and perplexity in their actions and in their statements, and even more so in theoretical reflections to explain how realistic, reasonable, as well as intellectually and even morally worn it is to base state policies on weakness and cowardice. And decline in courage is ironically emphasized by occasional explosions of anger and inflexibility on the part of the same bureaucrats when dealing with weak governments and with countries not supported by anyone, or with currents which cannot offer any resistance. But they get tongue-tied and paralyzed when they deal with powerful governments and threatening forces, with aggressors and international terrorists.

  8. As I … wordily… stated in the Pittsburgh Synagogue murder item below …

Political correctness led to “zero tolerance” policies in our public schools. We stopped all physical fighting on the playground. We told our children to … “use your words instead of violence” … and now, we’ve taken their words away. We’ve deplatformed them. We’ve squelched their opinions, their beliefs, their frustrations … their “hate speech”. We “permanently” BAN a BRILLIANT man like James Woods from Twitter … because his acerbic wit and satire is … “hurtful” (or will confuse Democrat voters).

And we wonder why CRAZY people act out their frustrations in homicidal and suicidal ways ?
