  1. Always difficult to see the obvious when you are in a echo chamber spouting bullshit that you actually believe, which is then confirmed by all the others in the same echo chamber. The reason Trump has such strong support is because all the alternatives suck. No one voted for Saint Trump. They voted for someone that’s doing his best to keep his election promises and generally doing a great job. Hillary would be at zero for two on the last two points.

    1. Many people also know that the DNC should be investigated for the “Russian” caper, and that Manafort and Cohen in no way reflect Trump’s presidency. They will never get their lies believed by people who actually know how to think.

    2. “and generally doing a great job”…he’s doing an incredible over the top fantastic job

Imagine if any liberal had accomplished what Trump has……there would be parades, fireworks

    3. Great Response.! For thinking persons, there never was a viable alternative.

“I wonder if enough people in this country find the actions and the behavior repulsive enough to want to change what’s going on.”

Well Ms. Turd….when it comes to the media and YOUR abusive, disgusting & repulsive behaviour…?? that has already happened.

What these (_i_)hats simply dont get..? Its the Economy STUPID.
I dont listen to him – I watch what he does..that’s what matters.

  2. I’ve noticed most of the average Trump haters in my life have stopped bitching about Trump entirely.

88% of republicans are not Swamp creatures.

    1. Many of us have been observing Trump for a very long time. Most Trump supporters are dug in. I honestly don’t know how he maintains his focus and work ethic, surrounded by so much nattering and negativity, mainly from the gossipy press.

      1. It is EXACTLY your observation that has me, a Reaganite to the core, believing that Trump has already surpassed Reagan. Doing what he has done during a DOJ/FB1/CIA/MSM/ClintonCrimeFamily/Academe attempted coup! And while Reagan was the Bedtime for Bonzo dunce, he was not HATED to this degree.

His high level focus is part and parcel of a high level business career.

  3. What the jabbering left fails to understand is that we conservatives could care less what Trump “says” … how he says it … or whether he “sounds presidential”. We’ve had enough of that. We are laser focused on what he DOES to strengthen America. What he does to improve our economy. What he does to … make America Great Again. And thus far he’s checked off box after box after box of things that REALLY MATTER to our personal and countries prosperity.

Oh … and Mueller’s entire “mission” is unmitigated crap. Shit. Unmitigated shit. And when Cohen et.al. Make “devestating” pronouncements on Tuesday … only to retract it all on Friday … we could care less about that nonsense too.

    1. I keep laughing at the libs and media….
To believe their spin…you have to believe someone that was just convicted of lying (Cohen)…and was defended by an attny (Davis) who just admitted he was lying

  4. Republican voters admired John McCain for his heroism as a POW during the Vietnam war. But they were also disappointed with his voting record as a Republican senator. He was the poster child RINO and an unashamed politician. Trump says what he means, and means what he says. Unlike every other politician in my lifetime, he is actually delivering on his campaign promises.

  5. Until Trump does something that Bill Clinton hasn’t already done, how could there even be a problem?

    1. I don’t care what Private Citizen Trump did way back in 2005. That is between Trump and his family.

When an executive is caught having sexual relations in his office with a Twenty something intern that is in his direct supervisory authority, that was always Classical Sexual Harassment, and cause for immediate termination, and civil lawsuits against the company. That is what NOW and all the Feminists demanded and expected. The (unnamed) Exception is if it is a powerful Democrat that supports abortion.

The same week that the Monica story came out, our director of sales for a utility was found to be having an affair with his secretary. He was Fired and out on his ass within 24 hours. Our boss’s boss called us all together and read us the HR Policy the next morning, with a warning that it will be enforced on everyone.

(40 years before that, that was sometimes an unofficial, but voluntary part of the secretary’s job. The previous president of the utility promoted his secretary all the way up to a VP position before he died. The next Utility President was the “best (male) friend” of the previous President’s wife, who was the majority stockholder after his death. Equal rights came slow to some corporations.)

    2. Kevin, wankin willy came to mind when I read the header, and the left’s support never stopped, not even today, and they “wonder”. You articulated the point better than I could have. Your comment is Kate quality:-)))

Squawked the Clinton-adoring Press throughout his Impeachment due to obstruction of Justice … lying to a Federal Grand Jury.

      1. Russian immigrant used car salesmen … black market experts … are more admired than … the oppo Press

  6. So, they claim to be totally bewildered by why 88% of Republicans, about 40 % of Americans, still support Trump.

Here’s a novel idea…. why don’t you ASK some of them? Wow, it’s one thing for voters to be willfully ignorant but when your “journalists” would rather feign ignorance than dig for answers, you know they are simply avoiding inconvenient truths to their locked-in ‘Evil Trump’ narrative.

These fake reporters pushing their fake-news-powered agenda are indeed enemies of the people, truth and Democracy itself.

  7. The only thing the Media, the NeverTrumpers, and Democrat Politicians hate and despise more than President Trump is you and me. They hate us, and they hate our chosen leader.

If PDT disappeared tomorrow, they will still hate and despise you and me.

  8. Loved this comment!

” steprock Evan Strong • 9 hours ago

    Couldn’t have said it better.

I wish he was a classy, admirable, noble leader, with a clean past, but he’s not that kind of guy. He’s a bruiser. We got tired of being bullied and hired a bully to show that we can stand our ground.”

  9. And a good reply that resembles Mr.Scheer, unfortunately.

    ” Napier’s Gallows steprock • 7 minutes ago

“classy, admirable, noble leader, with a clean past, ”
The GOP ran one in 2008, and another one in 2012. What were the results? Donald Trump is what we needed, and is probably more than we deserve.

  10. Personally, I would like to congratulate the late Senator John McCain for his amazing personal growth in the past decade!
In 2008 McCain was widely derided in the Media as a racist warmonger!
Today, open any paper and bask in the praise of this great man!
    Such personal progress.Truly inspirational.

I should note that this is where I would normally hurl derogatory epithets at the current President.
Unfortunately, the unbiased,non-partisan Main Stream Media has used them all.
    Every one.

    1. Well I give credit to the tumour. It did all the hard work to restore his image. Liberals love dead Republicans more than Republicans that lose. They love both kinds but dead ones are their favourite.

  11. My wife is disgusted with Trump which leads to many ‘conversations’. Having been in the corporate world I have dealt with ‘aggressive’ people before. IMHO the proof is always in the pudding. Does he get results. The Trump strength has always resided in the GDP number. It had to be 3% or higher and he has blown that number out the door. The Progressives have tried to co-opt his success by actually saying Obama prepared the base. They have to try something as the economy will likely cost them the election.

As a fiscal conservative the regular forecast of another +$1 trillion deficit is very worrying. The corporate tax reduction was an absolute necessity but a 2.8% GDP gain was to pay for it. Government spending continues at the pace under Obama. A number I never see discussed is the increased tax revenue from record employment. It has to be enormous. I do expect some kind of ‘short’ selling effort by progressives before the mid-terms to try and influence voters as to the longevity of the Trump boom. Larry Kudlow thinks this boom is more than sustainable as the ground work being done now will really kick in by 2019 & 2020.

All the good news aside the world debt issue has not gone away. I speculate that many ‘serious’ people in the USA realize that the next down turn could be more than serious. As much as a 50% drop in equity markets. Mauldin likes to call it the great ‘reset’. The collapse of the consumer in this scenario will impact global growth for a decade or possibly longer. Do American ‘think tanks’ realize this and want to prepare the USA for the competition for investment capital and thusly preserve American economic dominance. This is a national security issue as the USA battles China for global dominance. I thought Mitt Romney was the best qualified POTUS candidate in decades. Obama, McCain, Bush, Rubio, Clinton … all these people are professional politicians. Not as bad as the Euro politicos but not near as good as Romney and now Trump.

Will Trump succeed? If the mid-terms and re-election are the measure then I think so. People will look at the financial situation and realize they are better off. The unease in the global psychology of pending debt collapse likely manifests in tribalism and survival. Trump will trump in this environment. Progressives are more likely to be exposed for the vacant ideas they promote.

    1. So far, the only democrat platform I’ve seen is…

Impeach trump, promote violence and riots, lie in the news, prostitutes and porn stars, filthy language, socialism and communism ,,,and raise taxes

…ask your wife if that’s really something she supports

  12. With the constitution and laws that are in place, the US has a perfectly good framework to build their country. There are things that need tweaking (immigration and border laws come immediately to mind), but what is there works and has worked for decade after decade.

What the problem is currently is that politicians from the left are coming in and appointing judges to change the constitution, not enforce the laws they disagree with and not treating everyone equally under the law. This is not because they are looking for change per se, they are looking for POWER.

The media is the cheerleader in chief to this change and 95 percent of them are SJW’s for the cult of progressive politics, diversity and globalization.

They don’t understand the common man, because they are not living the day to day realities that their change creates.

But the more that Trump can make clear the alliance between the progressive left and the mouthpieces in the media, the more support he will gain.

    1. Exactly. Trump cares about uplifting his country and the day to day economic lives of his people which is something diametrically opposed to the aims of the various progressives (Marxist) components of which the media is a big part.

  13. …..I have said it times before, ” they hate us, because they cannot own us!”
    ….MAGA….

  14. I posted the following in Reader Tips and it is pertinent here as well.

Fake and plenty biased “news” organization at its best.

“Former New Hampshire governor and ex White House Chief of Staff under George W. Bush, John Sununu, was asked to appear on CNN this week to discuss the late Sen. John McCain. During the interview, CNN’s Alisyn Camerota was visibly upset that Sununu refused to denounce President Trump and his criticism of CNN:”

    https://twitchy.com/dougp-3137/2018/08/28/wtf-cnn-hosts-fury-over-john-sununu-refusing-to-slam-trump-during-remembrance-of-john-mccain-is-beyond-parody-video/?utm_campaign=twitchywidget

Camerota was probably slamming McCain a few years ago and doesn’t give a rip about McCain, just slagging Trump.

    1. Ken;
The Media was the enemy of Americans during & since the Vietnam War…They champion Communists… When Trump calls them the enemy he is talking for >420 Million Americans. The realization by the media that McCain was a POW in Hanoi is self delusional apathy (NOT empathy)….Hanoi Jane will be on CNN next week to cheer Bernie & NFL betrayers (patriots to Communism)… Trump is just the lightning ROD who has become the focus of all the HATE….

      JMHO

  15. If the Republican Congress passes immigration reform NOW, with Trump’s 4 points…They will Flip California in 2000… It is time to bury Democrats & the Media…NO holding back to give Democrats a chance

The political Class (Elite) Establishment Parties play the GAME like that of a Horse Racing Secretary. They handicap all their candidates (such that everybody comes across the Finishing line together) and then let the CREAM come to the top…It is an obsolete process and needs to be rejected…. One of the OLD Establishment Parties must be eliminated ASAP…..

    JMHO

  16. One of our union leaders was an absolute prick. A manipulative, sneaky, dishonest, aggressive jerk. Not many people liked him but at that time upper management and HR were also manipulative, sneaky, dishonest jerks. There was a lot of fireworks and hard feelings at the corp. but our union contracts were decent, all things considered. I still despise that guy but he was necessary and effective.

I suspect many Americans might have similar feelings about Trump. They may not like or approve of his behaviour but he is necessary and effective against his opponents. If those opponents weren’t so awful and abusive towards non-leftists then a leader like Trump wouldn’t be necessary. I think they knew exactly who they were voting for so attacks on behaviour and decorum are completely ineffective.

  17. I’ve never cared whether anyone in particular ever banged a hooker (or a pornstar). Why would I care about Trump? I thought it was silly back in the 90s worrying about Bill Clinton getting Lewinskied.
