  13. The tweet writer was trolling for a fight and half the commenters here are falling for it. The point of Kate’s post isn’t the stupid, racist stuff that some people say. What’s remarkable is that these people get paid by allegedly prestigious organisations like the New York Times. Even more remarkable is that so many people willingly *pay* for NYT’s product.

    Just like some politicians who are clueless idiots (we all know this), but not quite as clueless and idiotic as the people who elect them.

    1. I felt the same way. The problem is not that some young women hate whites. It’s that the NY Times hired this racist knowing her internet history and now excuses her for her racism. Her employers forgive her because she was merely imitating “the rhetoric of her harassers” on the internet.

      One of her tweets said #CancelWhitePeople” Would they overlook it if a white employee had said #CancelAsianPeople? Never.

  14. I gave up on urban life and society last year after I left the military. I now live with my wife and my GSD on a remote lake with a few acres surrounded by crown land far away from all that bs. We do go to the nearest “town” of 5,000 a few times monthly in NE Ontario Klnd Lake, 5 hour drive one way) otherwise good luck to all with diversity and progressives. I’m 75% self sufficient now and these type stories do not make angry any longer; they make me smile and knowing I made a great decision to leave civilization was a great one.

As well, Korea is already one of the most racist cultures I have ever encountered, in general terms. Your average Southern redneck racist KKK member is generally less racist towards blacks than the average Korean is against the rest of the world…

    1. Several years ago, there was a battle on Wikipedia between Korean and Chinese, regarding ancient borders, caused by a Korean TV series that was dubbed into Chinese, which showed the superiority, of course, of Koreans.
      It was rather hilarious. The Koreans inserted into Wikipedia their version of the borders of the three ancient Korean kingdoms, extending into most of China. That is historical nonsense, but the Koreans who did this seemed to have truly believed it.

It, also, goes to show that the NYT’s doesn’t think it has a bias or credibility problem while a fast growing number of readers think they do. This just adds to their problems as did Ali Watkins (who I still think needs to hire a good criminal defense counsel).
