It isn’t fake news, but it ain’t new news either. Landlords discover (the hard way) that putting vibrants in their lodgings is exactly like filling them with manure and setting them on fire.
The entire country is gonna look like that soon too.
And, of course, taking action against them will result in charges of racism.
I notice that in the apartment complex I’m living in. In recent years, many of the newer tenants are from a certain other country. They get away with all sorts of idiocies which would earn me an eviction. Instead, the manager simply gently scolds them and sends them on their way. They, no doubt, will carry on as if nothing had happened.
One of the manager’s predecessors was even worse. For a while, we had a number of tenants from a different part of the world. They let their brats run wild, thereby culturally enriching us with their noise and the damage they caused. (A patch of newly-seeded lawn didn’t stay that way for very long, thanks to them.)
One former tenant in my building, whose apartment was on the ground floor, finally yelled at some of the kids and told them to behave. What really irritated him about it is that there’s a playground across the street, about a 5 minute walk away where they could have expressed their youthful exuberance with wild abandon, but that would have meant that a parent or guardian would have had be present to watch them.
One of the parents came over and had a few harsh words with that tenant, but the matter didn’t stay there. He was later visited by the police over charges of–wait for it!–racism. After an investigation, they found that he was simply doing his duty as a tenant and that the parents of the wee urchins weren’t being particularly responsible.
The manager didn’t see it that way and tried to have him evicted and the matter ended up in court. He won his case and moved out when his lease expired.
“The entire country is gonna look like that soon too.” That is the plan; except in the Laurentians of course.

Stupid video. Show us or shut up.
I tend to agree. No video or photo proof offered except some heavily redacted and embarrassingly spelled docs. I simply don’t blindly trust any journalists, and that includes RebelMedia since they too have a narrative of choice. Where I don’t doubt this story is probably accurate, it was weakly laid out and presented.
“Refuges ‘Completely’ Destroy Hotel” C’mon RebelMedia, that is the type of hype worthy of a Rachel Maddow set-up.
To put this story more into perspective, we have countless native-born Canadian losers already here that regularly do serious damage to lodgings where the government is footing the bill. As I have stated here before, a friend manages a low rent building full of people living off taxpayer coin and I long ago had my eyes opened. The list of problems Gunn went over is almost identical to the almost daily crap my friend deals with. When they move out or are finally evicted, the filth left behind is often extreme…. like layers-of-shit-caked-on extreme…. and all but one was a white Canuck.
I am angered at the total lack of respect and gratitude towards us that many of these so-called refugees display, also. But, Gunn’s chosen style of coverage on this story is so far one-dimensional and paper thin, leaving me thinking it carried much less impact than it should have.
Canadian Observer: You are totally correct about the countless AFN that already do the same serious damage to lodgings where the government(TAXPAYERS) paying for the bill. Have you ever been to a reserve they don’t care about anything because they don’t pay for anything it’s all (TAXPAYERS MONEY). Remember the photos of the Northern Reserve in Ont. the Chief was Teresa last name escapes me, she went to Ottawa and was on a hunger strike. I have seen some reserves where they just open up the front or back door and throw the garbage out and there it stays for the dogs to eat I gather!! Some reserves might be ok but most I bet aren’t…my thoughts on the subject!!
I agree I couldn’t watch it … That reporter is painful to listen to. The clip was a bore. Just show us the damage.
I appreciate that Rebel bring these things to our attention. Gunn does a good job. She has to fill a certain time quota — sometimes there is more info than at other times. They did not have pictures– that is additional cost. After all, they are not funded like the CBC — which brings us to the question of why the CBC did not cover this.
3 min. of B.S. to open. Very annoying. Fact presentation drawn out needlessly and ordered inappropriately for impact. I think I’m voting for STFU.
I doubt it is related but a few years ago I stayed in a hotel in Calgary and was greeted in the morning by a bunch of children wishing me a ‘Good Morning’ . They were from Syria and ‘good morning’ was the only English words they understood. I went back to the hotel a few weeks ago and discovered it had been demolished. Not by Syrians but by a demolition company.
So what’s your point?

ARGUMENTUM AD SLUMLANDLORDEM
like I said, YOU ARE NOT VERY BRIGHT
Come and visit some of the public bathrooms in Toronto sometime if you don’t believe this is what we are in for.
I seem to recall a constant stream of stories where Southeast Asian (Vietnamese, et.al.) refugees in America died from carbon dioxide poisoning (lack of oxygen) … because they were setting up hibachis in their living rooms to cook food. Not being used-to buildings that are actually sealed from the environment (not leaky) … they asphyxiated the entire family. Something of a cultural … uh … intersection … I guess. An intersection where lack of language skills, and cultural understanding turned deadly.
I suspect if something similar happens to the ‘noble’, ‘brave’, ‘intelligent’, ‘valuable’, African Muslim refugees … then the ‘incompetent’ Hotel/Apartment Managers will be SUED … for inadequate notifications (translated and written in Somali) warning not to set their rooms on fire.
You probably meant carbon monoxide poisoning. From lack of oxygen, the carbon does not burn efficiently and form CO rather than CO2. For some reason CO is very poisonous. (For instance, car exhaust). In contrast, CO2, of course, is inert with respect to animals. After all, we produce them.
From the fall of Vietnam, they rescued some Hmongs (otherwise known as Montanards) who were staunchly anti-Communist. They were placed in apartments without supervision. The Hmongs were very primitive and never learned about stoves, or indoor plumbing, for that matter. So they foraged for firewood and placed them on top of the stoves to cook. They also hunted feral dogs, which were a problem in many San Gabriel Valley cities, and ate them. The cities, rather than being grateful they solved the feral dog problem for free, passed ordinances banning the eating of dogs.
A question though, why would anyone want to pay taxes to make investments in Canada if it is all just going to be hit with a wrecking ball? Why are parents preferring to put their kids in Emersion programs rather in the general population of public schools? There is a real discussion to be had here, why isn’t Scheer having it?
The ONLY good thing that can be said about Scheer is he’s not Justin Turdeau.
It would be nice to see some photos, but I wonder how difficult it would be to actually get some photos that you can PROVE are photos of a room occupied by a refugee. Canada has privacy laws that are zealously applied whenever it suits the government.
For many of the hotel owners, government contracts are a business saver, not everyone is part of a major hotel chain, so many of them probably were quite eager to get those guaranteed payments from the government.
I read a few years ago that motel owners in Manitoba were having similar problems with First Nations refugees from the forest fires in northern Manitoba. Never did see any photos, just reports of some complaints by motel owners.
Facts? I don’t know the facts, no one in the media seems big on proof of allegations these days.
We need proof before rambling off. Remember, a proof is a proof, if it is a good proof it has been proven or something
