  1. Ah, life among the rich and snooty…. They who live by virtue signalling sometimes get it back in return.

  2. I suspect the children ovvvvvv cullller … were NOT performing up to the standards of their lillywhite peers. So. To preserve the chilllllldren ovvvvv cullller’s self esssteeeeeem … they dumped the darker kids into a remedial dark kids class. Then. They called it “cultural identity” class or some such shit. The TRUTH is the only way.

  3. And yet at university, it’s separate student unions, separate residences, separate spaces…so what happens between now and then?

  4. It’s all of a piece on the left. Progressives continually move the goalposts. The end result is totalitarian rule by those who control the goalposts.

Darkness at noon – read it if you haven’t.

    1. Put the Children of Color into different rooms, Make them use segregated bathrooms and water fountains.

‘Ah Houseplants,’ Tucker now says its not going to happen.

      My Disappointment-
I had applied for a $70,000 dollar per year job driving one of the segregated school buses.

  5. well then….
“Arthur Bremer. Please call your office. Arthur Bremer please call your office…”

  6. The parents “of colour,” who don’t realize their only purpose in the corporate world is to provide the illusion of “diversity,” are irate.

The white and Asian parents, who paid good money to keep their heirs and successors away from brats “of colour,” are probably relieved to finally be getting their money’s worth, whatever they say in public.

“Diversity” is for white proles whose children are categorically NOT welcome at Harvard or Yale. The white boys are expected to join the army, and come back dead or insane (and no threat to globalist dominion) after fighting wars to keep China well supplied with Saudi oil. The girls are expected to each have a black baby by age 15.

  7. Jefferson Davis and KKK were just a little ahead of their time. “They’ can call it what they will, it is what it is, to the back of the bus please.

  8. Greenwich Village or West Village is situated in one of the most desirable parts of NYC in which to live. Tree lined streets, tons of restaurants, bars and cafés, it is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the country and historically the Mecca for artists and the center of the LGBTQ movement. It is the home of the famous Stonewall Riots at the Stonewall Inn (June 28, 1969.) It is now recognized as the Stonewall National Monument which is the first monument dedicated to the LGBTQ movement.

With the wealth concentrated in this neighborhood and city and an annual tuitition of $ 45,485 per student, at this school, this situation and the decisions made at this school can only be about one thing. Perhaps some parents are paying an extra amount / year for this particular status quo, as stated.( film quote: ” It’s nothing personal. It’s just business”)

[ An excellent historical novel ” New York” by Edward Rutherfurd 2009 at 1,026 pages is a good read about how NYC grew and survived all that it has. I highly recommend this.]

  9. Just saw the following on the Tucker Carlson show on FoxNews. Tucker phoned the school and apparently the segregation program has been cancelled.

    1. Ken:
Brouhaha with enrollments? No, no, no, can’t have that messed with. Mr Kassen’s listed compensation for 2016 was $ 403,039. Pretty job. Pretty good money.

Tucker going ‘wide’ with this was a big deal, what’ya think?

  10. I couldn’t tell whether this was an example of old fashion segregation a la 1950s Mississippi or the latest identity politics nonsense of today’s leading edge progressive campuses. I guess it doesn’t mater much as they both involve Democrats.

    1. Black people have no idea what the Liberal, Socialists Democrats have in store for them and this country.

      Just more fancy words.

‘Grab a wire from that Steinway piano so we can lynch this Uppity Negro.’

  11. My daughter went to a private (Catholic, but not parochial) high school, which very consciously had a racially diverse student body. Ironically, she told me that except for her own lunch group, the others were all self segregated.
In answer to John Chittick above, based on the only narrative where the race of the parent can be surmised, I believe Kenji is right, and this is an example of the old fashioned segregation. The thing is, the school is pretty much segregated anyway, with only 10 students “of color” in one grade with enough enrollment to be separated into at least two classes.

  12. It’s a private school.

Irate parents could have simply acted through their wallets of course, by withdrawing their children and letting the school go belly up.

    1. On the contrary. The Chinese and mixed white/Chinese families, who paid top dollar to ensure their brats were kept as far away from “children of colour” as possible. Till the press found out, anyway.

  13. Once again the broad definition of what constitutes “white” disguises what is really going on here.

  14. seeing as black wimins generally hate “mixed” colored kids…………………………..

  15. The thing is…

There are plenty of rich and other blacks that made their money the old fashioned way.
    Hard work.
They of course for the same reason as whites want their offspring to have a better life advantage.

The actor Washington is, by his public statements a guy that deserves respect. Cosby, omitting his escapades, has said things that made sense. Carson knows his stuff……..

It is those that get a “helping hand” from the likes of Jackson and Sharpton that seek and get the benefit of the virtuous, rich white socialists.

Heh …. it seems as though the actions of the rich socialists came back to bite their collective asses.

  16. “The Idiocy of the “Intellectual” Left on Display”

Not a very specific headline there, Robert. The story, literally, could have been about anything .

Anyways, I don’t believe the term ‘segregation’ accurately applies to this story. I think I understand what the school was trying to accomplish here, though I don’t agree with it. To me, the main problem with this is racially fixated social activists making such important decisions without open consultation with parent’s, first.

The parents carry some responsibility here, also. How out-of-touch were they with their children’s school lives to not be aware of this policy immediately? Too busy chasing Rolexes and Range Rovers to be bothered with trivial shit like that, I guess. More than a few of them probably agreed with the school’s methodology, anyways.

  17. On the school bus, do black kids get a special privileged position at the back of the bus. To parrot others – This is all about keeping the taint of black kids off rich white kids.

  18. Never fear! The teacher’s unions will undoubtedly assure us that these classes are separate, but equal.

  19. I understand the proponents of this segregation, oblivious to the obvious irony, have had their plan nixed.

More evidence of the Intellectual Yet Idiot (IYI), mostly ensconced in the deep state, plaguing civil society.

“The Intellectual Yet Idiot is a production of modernity hence has been accelerating since the mid twentieth century, to reach its local supremum today, along with the broad category of people without skin-in-the-game who have been invading many walks of life. Why? Simply, in most countries, the government’s role is between five and ten times what it was a century ago (expressed in percentage of GDP). The IYI seems ubiquitous in our lives but is still a small minority and is rarely seen outside specialized outlets, think tanks, the media, and universities — most people have proper jobs and there are not many openings for the IYI.”

The key is “no skin in the game.” That unlocks accountability so must be stopped at all cost to the taxpayer.

“The IYI pathologizes others for doing things he doesn’t understand without ever realizing it is his understanding that may be limited. He thinks people should act according to their best interests and he knows their interests, particularly if they are “red necks” or English non-crisp-vowel class who voted for Brexit. When plebeians do something that makes sense to them, but not to him, the IYI uses the term “uneducated”. What we generally call participation in the political process, he calls by two distinct designations: “democracy” when it fits the IYI, and “populism” when the plebeians dare voting in a way that contradicts his preferences. While rich people believe in one tax dollar one vote, more humanistic ones in one man one vote, Monsanto in one lobbyist one vote, the IYI believes in one Ivy League degree one-vote, with some equivalence for foreign elite schools and PhDs as these are needed in the club.”

Just give them time, they’ll get it “right,” in a totalitarian kind of way though.

“The IYI has been wrong, historically, on Stalinism, Maoism, GMOs, Iraq, Libya, Syria, lobotomies, urban planning, low carbohydrate diets, gym machines, behaviorism, transfats, freudianism, portfolio theory, linear regression, Gaussianism, Salafism, dynamic stochastic equilibrium modeling, housing projects, selfish gene, election forecasting models, Bernie Madoff (pre-blowup) and p-values. But he is convinced that his current position is right.”

  20. also, the reporting is shyt:
“would place minority middle-school students in the same homerooms ”
    ?
is the assumption they are in ‘same homerooms’ as *other* minorities, or, OR ‘same homerooms’ as ALL the rest of the kids?
considering the topic of the news item it just miiiight be a good idea to be 100% completely CLEAR.
it’s just my autism pointing out vagueness and uncertainty.
anyways, yes SDA, its ALL shyt.
