From what I can make out, amid the insults and interruptions, the gist of Mr Owens’ talk seems to be that if you internalise the narrative of eternal victimhood and cultivate an attitude of chippy resentment and irresponsibility, while flattering yourself and disregarding rules, then potential employers, and partners and friends, will be repelled and your life will most likely unfold in accord with that narrative. The students, having internalised said narrative, immediately illustrate his point.

Blacks, this is your golden opportunity as all the whites are leaving or being killed in Africa so you have an entire continent to make into your blessed homeland. Mr. Burgess Owens (successful NFL defensive back) and Mormon (gasp* a black Mormon) … is a role model for black kids. Or SHOULD BE a role model. Alas … his message is not of-“victimhood” caused by the “white devils” … so he is shouted-down … by the “victims” attending a $50k/yr institution of higher victimhood? Other than blocking the positive teaching of Mr. Owens … I find the entire charade amusing. And devoid of any rational thinking or behaviour. Devoid of any higher learning.
