So, when (Iman) she/he says she is becoming a healing community organizer, I hope she isn’t going into common practises of the current witch doctors. I have a good friend who relayed his experience while being a doctor in West Africa. It was the reason he left, couldn’t fulfil the Hypocrite Oath of doing no harm.
Upon diagnosing many of the men with Aides, the men knew that this was a death sentence, so they would run off to their local witch doctors, looking for an ancient cure. The witch doctors would do their voodoo and the common practise was established. The infected men were to find a young girl, the younger the better, and have sex with them. They would be cured, it may take more than one treatment, so don’t stop.
My friend was then having to treat infant girls, as young as 6 months, for severe trauma AND Aides infections.
It was mind bending to see the destruction foisted upon the communities because of the “magic” which was being dispensed by the witch doctors.
Maybe someone should teach them about Jesus. Easter is a good time for hearing the Gospel (good news), and the healing and community organizing he established. Worked then, works now. But it takes hard work and faith.

A buddy of mine met a Witch Doctor (WD) on the subway in Toronto. The WD was going to administer some healing or other – making a house call. They chatted for a bit and the WD gave him his business card. Offered to cure him if something should arise.
The WD was dressed in traditional garb, face paint. Hey you gotta look the part. Spoke very good English.

Well if you are smoking the right herbs and have the right stimulation, you can convince yourself of just about anything.
