  1. Jo Nova is a blogger based in Australia writing mostly on the AGW hoax. She has an interesting thought on bats and windmills. We all know that windmills chop birds and bats. Apparently bats really are not dumb, and they now avoid windmills. A study says now bat activities around windmills are only 5% of normal. Jo led off with that, and then put in her own thoughts if you scroll down. What about the insects, she asked. Since the windmills effectively removed an insectivore, do windmills help increase the mosquito population, and spread dengue fever [as well as other diseases]?

You may have to scroll down if she has more articles.
Her article below that one is also interesting. It seems like GB listens to its Greens propaganda about fracking, fed by Russia. So now instead of harvesting cheap and plentiful shale oil, it imports expensive oil from none other than … Russia!

  2. “Back in USSR.” I remember listening to this on the other side of the Iron Curtain, “useful fuk1ng idiots” we thought.

  3. Now Mr. Dressup is just mailing it in. Appoints new Senator based on the recommendation of non-existent board.

#Trudeau appoints a new senator, he says: “recommended by Independent Advisory Board for Senate Appointments”. But, #SenCA Board is NON-EXISTENT! Govt website shows only federal chair filled. All 28 other federal & provincial panellist seats are vacant!

    Carbon = C. Carbon dioxide = C02.

  5. Canadian crude just found a new way to Asia — no pipeline necessary
As the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion struggles to move forward, Alberta’s oilsands producers have had to get creative to get crude to China
Canadian oil producers found a way to access the growing Asian energy market without the controversial Trans Mountain pipeline.
A cargo of heavy crude was sent to China after being railed to a terminal in Portland, Oregon, according to U.S. Census data and people with knowledge of the situation. The crude came from Alberta’s oilsands, the people said.

  6. “Back in USSR.” I remember….. “useful fuk1ng idiots” we thought.
The Beatles especially John Lennon loved to poke ‘the man’ in the eye even though Paul M. claimed the song was just a send up of the Beach Boys sound.
The line “You don’t know how lucky you are, boys” left many anti-communist groups stunned. “…..the song was “a rather tactless jest”, given that the Soviet army had recently invaded what was then Czechoslovakia and thwarted the country’s attempt to introduce democratic reforms”

  7. This is incredible. It downright deceitful. These supposedly “independent” Senators are a problem to begin with (Recently blocking Linda Frum’s bill to stop foreign money being used in our elections), now we find out that they are not independent at all. They are Liberal insiders, but Trudeau is insulated from criticisms by the pretense that they are independent. Where is the media on this ruse? Such deceit! I am shocked, even though I know this is par for the course for Liberals.

But the most important outcome of the quarrel over the trade numbers may be that it undermines the case for preserving the North America Free Trade Agreement.
The Trump administration accurately points out that the U.S. has a trade deficit with Canada in goods. The basic data from the U.S. Census Bureau puts this at $17.6 billion in 2017, up from $11 billion the prior year.
“We do have a Trade Deficit with Canada, as we do with almost all countries,” President Trump said in a tweet.”

“Australia’s secret carbon market is “live” — costs about $7m for the Emissions Trading Scheme we voted against”
“What do you mean, you didn’t know Australia had a carbon credit market?
Obviously, you havent been spending your weekends reading the finer points of our legislative instruments.
The legislation for this was voted on in the last sitting of Parliament before Christmas of 2015 while Turnbull was a new PM.
There was no public debate, no parliamentary discussion and no news coverage of it til May the next year, and it was barely covered at all during the election which occurred the day after this “market” started.
For some reason Turnbull didn’t brag about his master success — achieving what Rudd and Gillard failed to do. This is because he is a self effacing and humble man … or maybe he knew his voters hated it, and he hoped to deceive them.

  14. the permutations (emphasis on MUTATE) of the leftoidists agenda are . . . . countless?

  15. I’m astonished that Marjaleena Repo wrote that sensible well written article about the Stanley trial. In the past Marjaleena Repo and her group Canadians Against Free Trade have been fanatical in their opposition to the US Can. free trade deal.
If you don’t have Marjaleena and her people in your SJW corner you got nobody.

It’ll be covered up, settled out of court, hushed, explained away etc….Doesn’t fit the narrative.
Meanwhile, the double standards just keep piling up for the Progs.

  17. That post at Jo Nova’s site is really alarming. You know that exactly the same underhanded maneuvering is going on in Canada. We too now have a “framework” for working with the EU which Will march us through all those sustainable development goals, promotion of women, carbon tax, etc. The comments at the site are a real eye opener. Here is one:
“During the carbon tax period when Labor was in government Minister Combet was repeatedly questioned on radio about 10 per cent of the carbon tax being sent to the UN. He reluctantly confirmed that it was.
The radio journalist then asked about emissions trading replacing carbon tax and again Combet was reluctant to answer directly but finally confirmed that carbon tax was destined to become emissions trading scheme and then, as if it sounded better for voters listening, he confirmed that Australia would join the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
Maybe there is a clue as to why Al Gore was lobbying Clive Palmer and met with Malcolm Turnbull and others during his visits to Australia.
And “Australia’s secret carbon market” is the start.”
We must ask our government if 10% of our carbon taxes will be going to the UN.
