1. Grammatical error: “There are some sobs in the room,” should have capital letters as in “There are some SOBs in the room,”

2. It’s a good start.
   That being said, I used to think that the demise of the print media was due to people getting tired of the constant Leftist bias and less to do with the upswing of electronic devices. There is some of that for sure, but with Leftisms taking over all forms of media, people may just not need print media for their daily diet of fake news.
   They can get it anywhere.

3. Oh look, another media company discovers that regurgitating DemocRat Party propaganda is not a good business model.

5. Once in a while, one of the local fishwraps has a campaign to give out free copies to all and sundry. When I tell the salesthingy who comes to my place that I had long cancelled my subscription, it can’t comprehend that my main reason was its lousy service.
   Once in a while I have to go to B. C. to work on the house I inherited from my father. The local newsrag stopped being a subscription-based publication and is now weekly that’s given to all residents. The only catch is that it serves as a cover or sleeve for a stack of flyers and other assorted advertising material.
   That bundle becomes mighty thin after I get through the ads and the box I use for the recyclable material is filled rather quickly after I’m done reading it.

6. we used to take the “paper” mostly to get the Thurs-Sat flyers.
   then we switched to just wknd Sat-Sun
   then the “paper” cut out the Sun edition.
   then we cut the “paper”.
   however, when visitng the cabin, that “free weekly stacked with flyers” makes for great campfire starter.

7. This is sad news. Perhaps the CBC can hire these 30 journalists.

9. the good news (pun intended) with the shrinking size of print media, a speed reader can get thru it all in a minute.

10. I agree. They could rid of another 58 as how many does it take to reprint Democrat propaganda? Two should be enough.

11. Some of these papers have figured out how to stay in business and prosper behind a pay wall. G&M, NYT WP are a few. They have learned that if they produce material of value people will pay for it.
    Those aren’t papers I would subscribe to but I am contemplating renewing my NP e-paper (the nites are long out here in the buck brush…). It’s not perfect but there are few to choose from. I like reading the Economist and have subscribed to it in the past but 51 issues/yr are too much for me so now I fork out $10 to read a single issue when I see one that interests me.
