  4. I remember hearing in the news about what happened in what’s now called Zimbabwe. Groups of “war veterans” helped themselves to whatever farms they chose with any whites who lived there being given the heave-ho. As it turned out, many of those “veterans” were born after the civil war ended in that country.
    I suspect that in South Africa, a lot of “freedom fighters” will suddenly consider themselves to have agricultural talents and will enthusiastically be looking for places where they can use them.

  5. Speaking of ‘Truth and Reconciliation’, I understand that Trudeau’s ‘missing aboriginal women’ tribunal is asking for 2 more years to report their findings.
    Apparently, they are putting off as long as possible the embarrassing task of admitting to Canadians the inconvenient truth that the vast majority of these missing aboriginal women were killed by their aboriginal men. They have probably calculated that they need all of these two more years to successfully frame Gerald Stanley.
    Is there anything Trudotato touches that isn’t an utter balls up?

  7. Sadly like a lot of the dollars that flow through Aboriginal Affairs it is a cash cow for those who can strip it. From the Department itself to Band admin and to contractors. There is little empowerment to individual natives. They need ‘real’ icons who they can fashion their lives after. The reserves have to be eliminated.

  11. Winx ran an amazing race in the video Kate posted. A true inspiration for feminists everywhere. I wonder if anyone asked Winx if she self-identifies as a stud.
    I have yet to see a picture of the 38-year-old Kingston woman who many saw beating on the stained glass window at Queens. She got violent and tried to kick the window out of the cop car. Is this a social-construct woman (the new term for biology) or a “person” who self identifies as a “woman”?

    I’m reminded of an ex-boss of mine. He was desperate to be promoted and would do anything to get noticed by his superiors. He was the sort who would out-commie the communists and would have been more of a Nazi than the Nazis. He didn’t care what ideology or policy was in effect–he would adopt it, claim it as his own, and be a radical adherent to it.
    He never accomplished his objective. In his zeal to be promoted to the job he so coveted, he overstepped himself and breached a number of internal regulations, thereby blocking himself off from further advancement.
    He didn’t stay that way for very long and pursued a different route. He finally became what he wanted to be, a big fish in a small pond, but not in the position he wanted.
    I suspect that PM Tinky Winky is the same.

    Apparently, many clients lost 6 months of website development.
