  3. It broke my heart this evening to see a good friend, a really good friend start posting the entire Leftist narrative on the Nunes memo. My friend is a smart guy but he’s clearly a man of the Left. To see that he appears incapable of seeing the facts at hand – namely that certain people in the FBI – are absolutely corrupt and unethical, troubles me deeply.

    1- Trump is a Russian stooge. Somehow, because of loose, minor business interests, Putin controls Trump. You can read various memes around the old interwebby, but it still makes no sense, unlike Uranium One.
    2- the dossier is an unquestionably factual document. It has to be cuz Trump said on the bus he grabbed pussies etc…..

  14. Robert the new religion/philosophy of the world divides people into 2 camps – right and left. Each camp has their God who is infallible. Not unlike Islam and Christianity.
    Neither side will even contemplate the possibility they are wrong.

    Just askin’ but maybe they’re setting the table in the event something gets leaked.
    Ottawa is a vile place that lives on rumour/innuendo. The chattering classes are loved and loathed by the libranos who feed them tips as it suits them. The grovelling journos live in fear that they will be cut out of the tip pipeline all the while protecting their source. Open secrets abound. Things that must never be disclosed – trudeau sr sexual proclivities come to mind.
    If something has gone on in say the PMO, extracting the details will be harder to get out than finding out the nuclear code in Washington. The libranos will be in full lock down protected by their interlocutors.

    Bombardier, Khadr, offshore payoffs, dividing Canadians over irrelevant references to abortion access to summer camps or calling hardworking business people freeloaders to get $250M in taxes out of them, that’s their “real change;” back to cronyism.
    IOW status quo from the dividers seeking to unite us under their leaky tent, vilifying dissent to show tolerance.

    Years ago, one of my friends at the time mutated into a raving socialist. (Apparently he underwent his conversion during the two years he spent with CUSO in some ****hole country.) The best he could do as to refer to me as a neo-fascist whenever he introduced me to people. (“Once you get past the fact that he’s a neo-fascist, he’s a nice guy.” Thanks, but no thanks.)
    We’re not friends any more. The last I heard, he’s still enamoured with his Bolshie idols.

  32. Oh, come on! Don’t you know he’s Mr. Tough Guy? After all, he said he’d “stare down” Putin, which, obviously, is why Russia hasn’t attacked us. All real Canadians sleep peacefully at night knowing that.
    During the late 1960s/early ’70s, when Mr. Tough Guy’s daddy was running the country, there was a popular slogan which appeared on posters and T-shirts, which went like:
    “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil because I’m the meanest SOB in the valley.”
    I’ll bet that’s where Mr. Tough Guy got his attitude…. or maybe he completed some on-line course on how to be a tough guy or took an on-line “Are You A Tough Guy?” poll.

    He’s setting the table for when the NAFTA talks go south. He steps up as our super hero – dusts off the old cape….tells Trump to stick it. Yeah he’s our ‘man’ (lower case).
