Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has made clearing a backlog of FOIA requests a priority and reassigned staff to what State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert has called “an all-hands on deck” effort to clear the backlog. Significant progress has been made, and the number of outstanding requests — which stood at 22,000 in January 2017 — has been reduced to about 13,000, Tillerson said in November, adding that he hopes the backlog will be cleared by the end of 2018.
The backlog grew over the last several years in part due to numerous requests from journalists and conservative groups, including Judicial Watch and Citizens United, for records relating to Hillary Clinton’s emails.
What will they find?
If you read between the lines on that letter, it was drafted by a skilled prosecutor. You know. Someone such as Trey Gowdy. Gowdy rarely asks a question he doesn’t already know the answer to. Classic Vince Bugliosi.
Now, Podesta is in a corner. This request is literally hundreds of thousands of pages of documents. Maybe millions. He can stall. He can even flip Grassley the bird. Neither makes him look good. Any lack of cooperation from Podesta also puts a lot of Trump’s critics in a spot. If they can’t criticize Podesta for refusing to play ball, how can they criticize Trump for pushing back at Meuller? Stalling just means that Grassley gets him one of those “suppeeny things” (Wilford Brimley).
Now, look at all the people cc’d on that letter. A couple of them have every single document Grassley has requested, or have unfettered access. Podesta can gamble that nobody is willing to turn over the damning documents, in order to cut themselves a deal. But, what if they’s some ugly s–t in there? If Podesta stalls, he could lose whatever high ground he has, to someone who desperately needs high ground. Cue Brazile and Dee-Dubya Schultz. Brazile has already stated that she fears the possibility that she might accidentally duct tape her hands together, fall in the trunk of her car, and drive it down a Potomac boat ramp. Dee-Dubya has her own growing legal problems that may or may not be related, thanks to the Alwan clan.

Senator Grassley sent similar letters to EVERYONE in the Democrat Party and Hillary Campaign, and PACS. So you are not wrong.
These Democrat elite political leaders are getting hit from all sides with requests for information on their crimes. It is almost like Nunes, Grassley, and Goodlatte have divided up the targets and are attacking them from different angles?
The Democrats tried to force President Trump out with their Russian smears last year. He knew he was innocent, and let them shoot their bolt. This year it is his turn, and he will discover and prosecute real crimes committed by Hillary, the Democrat Party, and the Obama Administration. It will be an interesting year.
