It appears as though the shark has jumped the humans when it is possible to get a longer sentence for hurting someone’s feeeeeeelings (aka “hate crime”) … than for “accidentally” shooting an innocent white woman in the back while walking with her father on a pier in San Francisco.

    One of the things we rightfully give BLM crap for is trying to make “innocent victims” out of violent criminals. Don’t do the same thing.

  16. Both examples of insane sentences given marginal harm done. Sentences being extreme only because the perp was a whitey and victims belonged to a protected class. On the other hand when the murderer is of protected class himself and he murders whitey he faces… wait for it… deportation.

Both are childish, sophomoric and pointless … however … 20years in PRISON! for the “hate crime” of waving a Confederate Flag and shouting ni&&er at a birthday party is just ridiculous. It amounts to thought control. And … IF … we as a society believe that this sort of “hate crime” is worthy of the same sentence that a child molester might get … then … where are the lengthy sentences being given to the ANTIFA and BLM haters?! “Hate crime laws” are asinine and only serve to further DIVIDE people.

    I agree with Colonialista that these are insane sentences (the “terroristic gang activity” statute seems like it was just begging to be misused) but the fact that y’all keep leaving out the violent things these people were actually convicted on speaks volumes. It’s like saying Dylann Roof was arrested for making too much noise in a church.
