Scientists Say Earth Is Doomed Without ‘Urgent’ Action — Just Like They Did 25 Years Ago
I have read far too much about global warming and the only thing that I can say about it is, human beings are not the cause.
I have read a lot about human beings and I can say that if there is global warming problem and whether or not human beings are the cause, they are not the solution.

It is part of the “human condition” that if a man LIES to me once … the odds are that he can never ever again be trusted to tell ANY truth. Regardless of the “science” behind the LIE … or the TRUTH. For example:
Polar Bears are going extinct due to Global Warming. No. They. Aren’t. By all measures, they are thriving.
Sea level rise is inundating vast tracts of human habitation. No. It. Isn’t. There has been no acceleration in sea level rise … and no. A storm surge is NOT sea level rise.
The Arctic is melting. No. It. Isn’t. These claims are based on satellite measurements only recorded starting in 1979. Any claims of crisis or trends … based on such a short period of time/measurement is ridiculous. And the Arctic ice is currently greater than ever.
Hurricanes will increase in frequency and intensity. The exact opposite has happened since that claim was made. Wrong again. A speculative LIE … supported by scienci-sounding mumbo-jumbo.
Increased Co2 is increasing global temperatures. No. There was an 18 year “pause” in temperature gains despite increasing Co2. So the pause was ignored, and not reported to the masses.
Actual measured temperatures are used to make the claims of Global Warming. Lies. Lies of omission. The public is never told that the actual measured temperatures are “smoothed”, “edited”, and “homogenized” (100% in the upward direction) by government agencies PAID by taxpayer dollars to perpetuate the LIE of CAGW.
California has been transformed into a State of perpetual drought due to Global Warming. No. Another LIE (by so-called eco-Governor Brown). And right on cue, just after this idiot-Politician made the pronouncement … CA was drenched by RECORD rainfall and snowpack. And the ensuing year (this year), has STARTED as the wettest ever.
That if we don’t act NOW! The planet is doomed … to starvation, flooding, war, pestilence, etc. No. NONE of that has happened in the 30years since the Socialism in sheeps clothing of Global Warming was unfurled by the Socialist United Nations.
And nowwww eco-Billionaire Tom Steyer is repeating the LIE that “we must act NOW” … “or the planet is doomed” “we must impeach 45”. “45 is the eco-Satan”. “45 is the eco-Hi++ler” “Impeach 45 is the ONLY way to -save the planet-“
Curry’s post is a fair synopsis of the document but to really understand the uncertainties, the falsifiablity issues, problems with politicization, etc. that came out of American Physical Society debate then follow the link to the full document. The conclusion is important:
“EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s proposal for red/blue team assessment is a logical progression from the workshop. The hostile reaction it elicited from leading consensus advocates strongly suggests that they fear debate. Climate scientists whose mission is to advance scientific understanding have nothing to fear and much to gain. Those who seek to use climate science as a policy battering ram have good reason to feel uncomfortable at the prospect. The biggest winner from a red/blue team assessment will be the public. If people are to buy into policies that will drastically alter their way of life, they should be fully informed of the consequences and justifications. To do otherwise would represent a subversion of democracy.”
There’s one other benefit from insisting on the red/blue team exercise: scientists who know their studies are “problematic” will have a strong incentive to correct or withdraw bad science before being publicly embarrassed. Human nature and the survival instinct might even cause some scientists to switch teams and provide evidence of malfeasance, if there was any. Malfeasance is a relatively common occurence in the political class so to demean this reasonable suspicion as ‘conspiracy theory thinking’ is itself completely out of touch with reality.
In a related story … Has Michael Mann turned-over his notes, calculations, and all papers concerning his claim of “Hockey-stick” warming ? As ordered by the court in his ABSURD lawsuit against Mark Steyn ? I think not. NOTHING that the Global Warmist cabal has produced is defensible in court as ACTAUAL EVIDENCE for anything. Nothing but unfettered speculation. Wild speculation. Wild conjecture.
No. No Global Warmist will debate or defend their findings. Just shut up and be a believer not a denier.
