  1. If needle “exchanges” actually exchanged needles, a lot of junkies would be running out of needles. But we know this isn’t the case. As usual with most things liberal it’s all about pretending. The needle exchanges don’t actually exchange anything, they just pass the needles out willy nilly to end up contaminated in the playgrounds. If you’re diabetic on the other hand, i.e. with a real “disease” . . .

“nold says… NDP Jagmet Singh has recently come out in favour
    of decriminalizing all illegal drugs.”

hey, what loving parent doesn’t want their offspring to grow up and be a
street junkie who blows unwashed strangers in dark alleys… for their
    next hit on the pipe?

  3. Wanna solve the problem? Hand out cyanide tipped syringes for use in the ‘center’. Have a direct pipeline to the crematorium.

  4. And for that, he deserves utmost praise. Singh makes it harder to hate the NDP. And that makes him dangerous.

  5. This is St Michael’s Choir School – it’s RC; alma mater to John McDermott. So we’re looking at Christians, and probably fairly white ones at that. To the Toronto progressives, they’re the problem; removing some nasty needles which might take a few of them out would be counter-productive.

  6. You just might be a progressive(Unome exempted of course) if:
On the 1 hand you see nothing negative for society in decriminalizing all drug use but on the other hand you are on board with MADD mothers and their .04% laws which essentially work to prohibit alcohol use in rural areas.

  7. I have heard (secondhand so can’t promise it’s true) that epipens and insulin needles are locked up in schools, and that teachers are not permitted to administer either epipens or insulin, if need arises. They are, however, allowed to inject naloxone.

  8. Imagine the government talking about tobacco and alcohol use the way they talk about needle exchanges, safe injection sites and drug decriminialisation…
    Oh but that’s different, J.

  9. If progressives have they way,all drugs will be decriminalized soon. The Liberals have
already legalized prescription heroin for “resistant” cases of Opioid addiction not
    responding to Methadone.

  10. As a libertarian, I would favour this but I am concerned about the social consequences of massive drug addiction. So perhaps decriminalization with a compulsory rehab program for addicts. Some drugs are a slow-speed death warrant, but then so is gasoline sniffing, and that’s legal.

  11. All the fascists and commies should keep real quiet. Pretty soon it is going to be so easy to identify the “counter-revolutionary” SJWs. They will be the scruffy junkies wondering around the streets. Makes it real easy to round them up and make them disappear…
See what the SJWs don’t realiseis we already tried it their way. The Weimar Republic was the cause of Hitler. Y’all DO know AH and his goons were prohibited by the Weimar Laws from speaking in public, right?
If you are a hard fascist, PC insanity and the SJW movement are the best things that ever happened to your electoral chances…

  12. I guess my point was just about the selective way government ‘protects’ its citizens.
At the local rural bar you can flush your farm, small business or savings down the toilet in the government sanctioned gambling machines but woe betide the individual who takes a few drinks while they do it and then attempts to drive home.
The .04% limit prohibits anything more than 1 or 2 drinks, essentially a shiny new prohibition.

“unme simpers… he deserves utmost praise”
    well, at least you’re consistent…
“The only outrage here is the continued persecution of people for
committing non-crime such as drug dealing and owning guns.”

unme, sweetie… i thought you be embarrassed to show your face
after mounting a defense of canada’s biggest opiod dealer ever.

  14. There is a lot of talk on the fairness of tax on marijuana, on the sharing of the tax revenue, on distribution, how to compete with organized crime, but nothing on its negative health effects. I guess pot is the wonder drug that has no negative consequences, not even cancer.

  15. Yes, Steve, that’s the PROG mantra, pot is a wonder drug. We’re supposed to swallow that BS apparently. Whatever, the yutes and potheads can continue with their apathetic lives, just don’t beyotch about their lack of drive, lack of ambition, having nothing but the latest variant of diesel or kush. Such is the drug culture.
BTW, ya gotta love the Progs arguing over the tax share. Two pigs arguing over scraps.
Oh, and if you get a chance to listen to Bill Blair’s discussion over how the Libs will solve everything regarding pot, including “keeping kids safe”, you will realize what a dumb k nut the Libs are, and how dumb their base is.

“unme chooses to die on yet another hill… ‘Well I hate MADD'”
just to clarify… you’ll spit on “mothers against drunk driving” AND
you support the dude who was caught with 42 keys of elephant
    tranquilizer
    ?
oh, unme… you’re starting to make osama bin laden look like
    captain kangaroo.

  17. dope dealers are a strange bunch. their fav tactic now is to kill their best customers.
something very basic there, as far as humahn motives and behaviour.

“unme announces… The guy wit tranq and guns never did anything to hurt me.”
so… hot handguns & 42 kilos of deadly opiod… that poor persecuted fella.
mothers grieving their dead kids… snarky b!tches deserve to rot in hell.
what a humanitarian. is your last name ansari, by chance?

  19. Sorry, maybe I missed something? WHY are we subsidising and facilitating illegal drug use again?

  20. *
“unme, formerly unome solemnly intones… He never forced anyone
to take drugs AFAIK. He’s a superior person to you.”

so, if i’m following your logic, maisum ansari is just providing a much
needed service to canadian youth. the fact that there have been so
many deaths (apparently over a thousand in british columbia alone
    this year
) has nothing to do with the guy selling the poison. and if you
have millions of dollars worth of carfentanil, of course you need illegally
acquired handguns to protect your investment.
keep going, you freak… you’re doing all the work for me.
