  7. Just like CNN and ESPN, the only way to properly punish the NFL for it’s SJW agenda is to cancel cable packages that include them. As some here pointed out, this BS has already spread to other sports. Leftards are just too committed to stupidity for these displays to end anytime soon. The owners themselves are cowards who are probably too in fear of a “blacklash” to stop their employees from openly spitting in their customers’ faces.
    I surely hope the proposed US bill to ban taxpayer money from funding these billionaire’s stadiums finds some traction.
    This is a culture WAR, and like all wars it requires sacrifice to become victor. There are so many better things to do with a Sunday or Monday night. I hope tens of millions of NFL fans tune out and discover there are far more enriching ways to invest their leasure time. Myself, I gave up watching obscenely rich and pampered athletes play children’s games many years ago.

    It would be great to see the US & Canada’s male population get off their fat ass’s and try to do something productive with their lives. The bonus is putting the “games” back into the hands of everyday people instead of the overpaid illiterates that stick their own asses in your face while laughing and mocking you for your support.

If the owners don’t have the cojones or rational self interest to persuade the offending players that their “style of protest” offend many of their customers than they deserve to be responsible for the loss of business and perhaps going out of business. I would rather watch paint dry than Football although I used to enjoy playing it as a kid.

  15. I USED to be an NFL fan. Used to be. As a boy, I worshipped the game and the players. I literally wept watching NFL Films productions and listening to Ed Sabel’s dulcet voice saying things like “… the autumn wind is a Raider”. I loved the NFL; the players, the authenticity, and the “character” of the game. How the game was the perfect sporting symbol of the American ethos; hard work, dedication, teamwork, training, innovation … But somewhere along the way, the game became the perfect sporting symbol of our cultural decay. The most notable being income inequality, and profiteering at all cost. The rap-culture hijacked the game as it’s player became 75% “urban”. The game passed me by. Yeah, I guess I am just an old “white” dude with outmoded morals. So I cannot claim a boycott of the game … I stopped caring some time ago.
    And … if … any “black” football player has a reason for taking a knee … it is a COLLEGE football player. You want to talk about blaxploitation? Look no further than NCAA football where the players are exploited by a $ Billion dollar industry in exchange for Room, Board, and a scholarship for their “Mass media” degrees. That is … IF … they actually graduate, as a huge number do not. And if a scholarship player gets injured ? Goodbye scholarship. The NCAA has hidden behind the myth of the “student athlete” as the games obscene PROFITS $$$ flowed into the pockets of Marxist college administrators. Black college football and basketball players are ABUSED and USED by leftist colleges. Leftist colleges who lecture, teach, and preach AGAINST the very thing they do … treat their players like SLAVES. The black (and white, Asian, Pacific Islander, etc.) players have a LEGITIMATE grievance against the leftist college administration and the NCAA. They should STRIKE for their “fair share” of the $$$$$ Billion dollar industry … that THEY and exclusively THEY create. It is obscene to make their employees walk around with NO $$$ in their pockets … forced to only eat the food of the “company store”. Shame on the leftist NCAA. Shame.

And not that I’m any kind of an NFL fan, but I’ve already emailed GM and Ford to tell them that, as far as this old cowboy is concerned, they’ll be wasting their NFL advertising dollars – because I sure as hell will never watch another NFL game as long as I live. And when I get the time, Dodge and the beer companies will get the same message.

    Was never a big football fan. On last sunday during the games I was at the range running bill drills while tuning up my splits and draw.
    During the Monday nighter, same thing at the indoor range.
    Get out there and do stuff instead watching those ghetto thugs beat each others brains out. Same goes for any hockey or baseball clowns.
    Just today a lineman for the LA Rams was stopped by police for a traffic infraction. He had a stolen loaded hi cap handgun in his glove compartment and it fell out when he went for his ins/ownership.
    This genius makes $1.5 mil a year. Now he is looking at some felony time/no vote. I’m not uncomfortable, I’m encouraged!

  40. The biggest irony of the NFL American Anthem protest is that these lugheads are actually protesting the fact that they are free to protest. I wonder how many of the basketball players that travelled to North Korea with Dennis Rodman to play exhibition contests would openly have given Dear Leader the finger for fear of being fed to the dogs? If there’s some specific cause these privileged boy-men want to draw attention to – then by God they can move the lips that God gave them and speak intelligently. Thumbing their noses at their own national anthem in brilliant 4K UHD view – where the freedoms they enjoy have been paid for in endless blood and sacrifice – is unfathomably stupid and remarkably negligent. There’s many nations with not-so-free people that will use this as an opportunity to denigrate and disparage America. The athletes and coaches that protested played into the hands of their enemies. Brilliant. Not.
