  1. The first tremor was pelosi disavowing antifa. That was huge in its implication. Went by mostly unnoticed. Or rather unreported.
    Internal polling must be showing an absolute meltdown for Dem messaging.

  4. Lots happened starting with Harvey where Trump got the job done.
    But I suspect the base note is the realization by the Dems that the happy idea that Mueller was going to nail Trump as a Russian tool is not happening and that, in reality, it is the Democrats who are beginning to look deeply corrupt. The Comely draft of the Hilly exoneration letter, before interviews had even begun, the questions being raised about the Crowdstrike Report on the hacking of the DNC server, John Podesta’s brother being on the Russian payroll, the whole House Democrats hire Pakistani nationals for their IT work, the refusal to hand over the DNC server to the FBI, the refusal of the FBI to let some of its key people to be questioned by Congress, the still unresolved issues surrounding “unmasking” by Obama operatives of American persons…
    At this point the Democrats are stuck. The insiders know that the lid is going to blow on the corrupt antics of the last days of the Obama Administration and the whole Hilly server story. They also know that they are captives of the left wing of their party who the American voters despise. And if they step out of line they can’t be sure Antifa won’t show up to give them a good thrashing.
    All that and Trump refuses to do the decent thing and resign, die, offer to be impeached. In fact, he seems to be popular with 40%+ of the electorate and is getting a handle on the job.
    The Dems are screwed…so, as a last resort, they are, reluctantly, doing the right thing.

  5. More likely the threat of removing the “blue slip” tradition finally made the Dems give a little on the process. Now if trump could get his $hit together and name people to the over 100 vacancies that have been around since he was inaugurated. The excuse that he doesn’t know anyone is hogwash at this point.

    PS My wife just told me Paul Ryan is a republican; hard to tell.

  9. I also read way back on Breitbart where Combies brother, does the Clintigulas taxes. No amount of Metamucil media” perfume” can cover up the stink that is the Democrats party. The big fans just starting to turn for the liars and enablers in media.

  10. Watched a Simon Templar(The Saint) episode in the 60’s whereby at the end of the script he uncovers the fact that the real brains behind the criminal enterprise is in fact not the alleged kingpin but in fact his personal bartender/butler.
    The beauty of the arrangement being that he serves at high level meetings but is passed over as part of the woodwork, at the same time observing from the fly on the wall position.
    Farfetched as that may seem, taking ego etc into consideration, one has to wonder just ‘who or they’ are that are really pulling the strings behind the scenes in American/ World politics.
    Any with brains,( my 42 yr old Liberal son excluded), know that here in Canada, ‘La Petite Garcon’ is most likely relegated to busboy duty at any high level Laurentian meeting!

    And you don’t know that there are several respectable conservative organizations that could have provided trump with excellent lists to choose from. And that the process of submitting those names maybe would have taken a day or so to do.
    Only trump is the reason why those manes haven’t been put forward. NO ONE ELSE IS TO BLAME.

  14. It will take a lot more than conceding a couple of points to derail the speeding globalist freight train. I smell behind the scenes agreements here also, wonder what the Dems are getting in return.
    Anyways, they are still fully dedicated to their holy mission of eradicating conservatives. Hell, they are even going after the black, gay and muslim ones now.

  18. I want smaller government; clearly you do not want it smaller. I say, let the blood letting start in the civil service. Fire hundreds of thousands. Fire millions. Let it rain pink slips at every level of government worldwide.
    If you can’t even limit the size of government, how can you limit it in any way?

  19. He put the cart before the horse. First, decide what you want to cut and explain why. Then add up the numbers. Picking a round number like 100,000 out of a hat is the wrong way to do it.
