The Children Are Our Future

Bring back the stocks: Anna Wibbelman, former president of Building a Better Michigan, an organization that voices student concerns about university development, stated at a student government meeting in late March that “minority students felt marginalized by quiet, imposing masculine paneling”

  1. Now they’re complaining about the wrong paneling?
    That must be a micro-nano-pico-aggression.

  2. I weep for the wood, which was cut from its life-giving roots entwined in mother natures womb. Only to be kiln-dried, cut AGAIN into thin slabs and slapped against the walls of a darkened room … all for the pleasure of … MEN.
All I can say is … “Ohhhh mamma” … to paraphrase Randy Newman …
“I Used to worry about the poor
    But I don’t worry anymore
Used to worry about the black man
Now, I don’t worry about the black man
    Used to worry
‘Bout the starving children of India
You know what I say now about the starving children of India
I say, oh mama … ohhhhh mammmma”
Yes … I am no longer moved to “outrage” … about anything. You’ve all gone quite insane.

  3. I have it on good authority that there is a natural phenomena that limits the growth of the Social Justice Warrior population.
It occurs when they become too distraught. They experience extreme overheating.
This results in spontaneous human combustion. Such an outbreak is due soon.
Any Consultant Metaphyscian can diagnose such by a forensic analysis of the ashes.

  4. Perhaps the German Bauhaus intluence of modern design is a much preferred aesthetic. It’s so much more “diverse” in its brutalist, nihilistic way.
Sadly, the minority students can’t see how the campus whites are whittling down their experience. Segregated graduation, segregated rooms, an embrace of their culture returning them to their historical norms, creating a “cause” that encourages them to self segregate socially, and building an environment that causes unending anxiety and stress as the list of social miscues grows for them by the day.

  5. Personally, I feel menaced every time I walk bare foot across the jatoba floors in my front foyer and I’m pretty sure the dark oak wainscoting in the family room talks about me when I leave the room. Wood is very patriarchal. /sarc

  6. Well damn it all, let’s start getting off our asses and begin catering to their needs!
Rip out that damn masculine paneling. Expense is no object. The only objections we don’t entertain are unrealistic ones. Let’s go already!

  7. Ironically, if you painted over the brown wood with say, Benjamin Moore’s “vanilla”, all would be right in the progressives world.

  8. In the name of fighting cultural appropriation, only Europeans should be allowed to attend University.

  9. From the article, “The radical leftism that has taken over college campuses is making promising young men and women into irrational loons yelling at the walls.”
These radical leftists can hardly wait until they can become modern day Chekists with the black leather jackets and form roving execution squads.
