Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

OK … so let me get this right … under CA Law … a used car dealer can sell me a JUNK vehicle “As-is” which puts the sale ENTIRELY at MY risk … caveat emptor. However, if I buy a secondhand autographed poster of Colin Kaepernick … I am PROTECTED from signature fraud ?
My search for a suitable Retirement State … keeps getting more URGENT by the day.
The publishing and book promotion industry and the writers they promote are a rancid hive of political correctness and enforced group-think, it’s one place the unemployable pseudo-intellectuals find a home when they are finally forced to leave the comfort of the university community. If ever there was a case of they voted for it, this is it. Sympathy gauge reads zero.
I tend to agree with you. It is pleasurable to watch leftists eat each other for lunch.
I understand the problem – most signed memorabilia is fake. Why not just leave it that people who blow tens or hundreds of thousands on signatures deserve to take it up the butt?
This is why I disagree with people who insist that legislatures should “do something”. They should not. We need them to be prorogued 24/7/365. If someone wants to buy an authenticated signed copy he is free to bare the additional expense, period.
Politicans must “do something” or appear to be doing something.
To actively promote the idea of doing nothing — the art of benign neglect — which we libertarians know to be the most reliable government solution to non problems — would give the prols some dangerous ideas.
An investment advisor friend, with a bit of a Zen mindset, once told a client that he got up in the morning and thought about what he wouldn’t do today. The customer praised him effusely for his wisdom. However, not long after, he transferred out to another advisor. That old saying, ‘a portfolio is like a bar of soap, the more you touch it the smaller it gets’ is not a lesson widely internalized by the general public.
Remember that Brit rocker wrapped up in that world aid stuff saying: ‘We must do something even if we know it doesn’t work’.
They should also be forced to get receipts and pay tax’s for all the “free” food samplings Liberal Progressives eat at the Organic Farmers Markets!
Every weekend they walk from one venue to the next filling their bellies for free on the backs of the Mexican field workers, and not paying President Trump “his fair share”!!!
Heh, heh……
You know the bookstore owner has voted in his own misery for decades. No sympathy from this quarter.
