Another nasty dust storm ?
You could have told us !
1. If they just had a carbon tax this wouldn’t be happening and if it did the could just raise the tax . 2. It sure to be the warmest year ever later when we have summer – err ,I mean global warming .
Wow! Did they just introduce a carbon dioxide tax, too?
Snowing sideways? Up here we call that a blizzard.
So, Trump does not say in this speech in Harrisburg that the US is pulling out of the Paris Accord, although he does say he has serious issues with the US footing the bill. Hmmm? Which way will he go?
In case some of you did not see the speech, I just love the shots of the little girl to Trump’s left giving thumbs down when Trump slams the Paris Accord, Hollywood actors, and the media.
I drove thru Amarillo … once. I believe I stopped at a HOOters there … ? I noticed it was a REALLY windy place. I think they should cover their entire town with windmills … and commit to use ONLY the winds NATURAL power for 100% of their energy needs.
… and the only prescription is more cowbell!
What more proof do you need that we have to raise taxes to stop this?
I am proud to say that I have been paying a carbon tax for years here in BC. That alleged storm would have been MUCH worse if I had done so!!!
You’re welcome Amarillo, Texas.
“MUCH worse if I had done so!!!”
=MUCH worse if I had not done so!!!
Amarillo has the distinction that the sun shines 157 days of the year.
Ural are you serious, do you really believe that the BC carbon taxes that you paid would have had any effect over what happened in Texas? If you really do believe this then just drink another quart of Justin s bathwater, and read some more articles in the Moronto Star or the Gripe and wail.
Ural hopefully will forgive me but he had a big sarc there. He doesn’t believe one iota in that snake oil fraud.

The “bad idea” in this case is not that climate changes, nor that human beings influence climate change; but that the impending change is sufficiently dangerous to require urgent policy responses.
…
These huge green multinationals, with budgets in the hundreds of millions of dollars, have now systematically infiltrated science, as well as industry and media, with the result that many high-profile climate scientists and the journalists who cover them have become one-sided cheerleaders for alarm, while a hit squad of increasingly vicious bloggers polices the debate to ensure that anybody who steps out of line is punished. They insist on stamping out all mention of the heresy that climate change might not be lethally dangerous.
…
None of this would matter if it was just scientific inquiry, though that rarely comes cheap in itself. The big difference is that these scientists who insist that we take their word for it, and who get cross if we don’t, are also asking us to make huge, expensive and risky changes to the world economy and to people’s livelihoods. They want us to spend a fortune getting emissions down as soon as possible. And they want us to do that even if it hurts poor people today, because, they say, their grandchildren … matter more.
Yet they are not prepared to debate the science behind their concern. That seems wrong to me.

“he “bad idea” in this case is not that climate changes, nor that human beings influence climate change”: The evidence for which does not exist.
well. I’ll have you know it isn’t snowing sideways, global melting has caused the ocean water to rise and tilt the axis to the point precipitation trajectory is severely affected.
so there.
You sound like a US Congressman elected from some Ghetto voting district … who is … well … somewhat … educationally-challenged. You know, what we used to call a DUMBAZZ … before the PC Politzia “accommodated” such idiocy.
I am preparing to sue Kathleen Wynne and the Ontario Liberal party for proof that their cap and trade will change stop climate change. I just realized that the BC carbon tax could be used as proof if it had stopped climate change. Has it? I don’t see any evidence that it has but I am willing to learn.
I love you Texas. I thought I would send you a taste of some Canada 🙂
p.s. I want more global warming. When I have the money, I will go buy 78 Jeep Wagoneer and drive it around in circles until the u joints fail. Because it will make me warmer. XD
