Dan Maynard: I can’t tell you whether the FBI knew the attack was gonna occur. I don’t like to think that they let it occur. But it is shocking to me that an undercover agent sees fellas jumping out of a car and he drives on. I find that shocking.
Anderson Cooper: That he didn’t try to stop–
Dan Maynard: He didn’t try to stop ’em. Or he didn’t do something. I mean, he’s an agent, for gosh sakes.
Anderson Cooper: If this attack had gone a different way, and lots of people had been killed, would the fact that an undercover FBI agent was on the scene have become essentially a scandal?
Seamus Hughes: It woulda been a bigger story. I think you would have seen congressional investigations and things like that. Lucky for the FBI and for the participants in the event you know, here in Texas, you know, everyone’s a good shot there.

There are a number of Islamic jihadi attacks during the Obama Administration that should not have happened if the security analysis that was known had been applied: Boston Marathon, Bombing, San Bernardino, Fort Hood, now Garland, too.
Fortunately, the Garland Texas attack was stopped right away, and this by a white haired senior still a serving police officer. Who happened to be a crack pistol shot even under pressure of returning fire from AK-47s.
A Senate Intelligence Committee investigation is warranted.
The police officer involved deserves a lunch with the American President and a letter of commendation.
At the least this proved true the old maxim:
“It takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy(s) with a gun!”
Only a 2nd Amendment nation has ordinary police officers with such skill.
The undercover agent fled the scene, but was stopped at gunpoint and placed in handcuffs by Garland police. Now why would he do that?
Previous to the eight years of Obama, even during the Clinton Regime, I would have a hard time believing that an FBI agent would let something like the Garland attack go down.
Now, given -who- was being attacked, I have no problem believing it at all. In fact, I have no problem believing an FBI Special Agent vectored those two mutts onto the Garland event.
That has not been proven here, of course. That would be total speculation.
But, given Obama, I wouldn’t be shocked if it were so.
Behold the legacy of The One.
“…The police officer involved deserves a lunch with the American President…”
Now, maybe he deserves lunch with the President. He didn’t do anything wrong so back when it happened he didn’t deserve to have to sit down and eat with that President.
Just guessing here. The FBI guy was there to get names and photos so Barry could sic the IRS on the folks who were “defaming the prophet”.
Remember Obama’s history with Fast & Furious so this operation seems entirely plausible to me. Especially when it involved the opportunity for Obama/Holder to take out a prominent critic of the ROP and a bunch of her supporters. I think Comey needs to answer some questions. Not some closed door session either. Publicly. This also provides the opportunity for Trump to take out Comey, whether or not he knew about the op or not. Doesn’t matter. It’s his agency. He needs to go. Heads need to roll. This story is huge. I don’t care if the media decides to give it the usual “leave it alone”. BTW – props to Anderson Cooper BTW. I know he’s CNN but once in a while he does some solid journalism.
Thanks for posting Kate.
Why did he flee? Perhaps to reduce the risk of getting shot. Perhaps because he was an undercover agent and didn’t want to blow his cover by sticking around to explain it to the police. Perhaps because he at that point thought he had screwed up by going along that far and he wanted to get away from the scene and consequences of his screw-up. I doubt they’ll ever reveal enough for us to know for sure whether legitimate precautions to safeguard operational security (methods and identities) are also allowing people to avoid dealing properly with errors and bad judgement.
Is the FBI guy arrested at gunpoint muslim?
Would I risk life and limb to get between one of the Koranimals and Prime Minithter Trudeau?
It took the policeman 30 seconds to shoot dead the two terrorists. The FBI undercover agent had good reason to fear for his life as he fumbled for his ID. The whole incident was likely done by the time he drove by.
Someone else touched on this maybe, but was the FBI agent a Muzzie? Or at least, sympathetic? Sure sounds like it based on shis incitement to ‘Tear Texas Apart’.
