Developing… Two people were shot outside the UK Parliament on Wednesday. Twelve others were injured in a possible knife attack.

“Asian” man in his 40’s:
policeman has been stabbed and his attacker shot by officers after a major terrorist attack at the Houses of Parliament that saw up to a dozen pedestrians hit by a car, leaving at least one woman dead.
The attacker mowed down people on Westminster Bridge in a grey Hyundai i40 before crashing the car into railings – then running through the gates of the Palace of Westminster and stabbing the officer.
Witnesses reported at least two bodies on the ground on Westminster Bridge and “one in the water”. St Thomas’ Hospital confirmed one woman has died and a number of others have been hurt – including some with “catastrophic” injuries.

Incidents like this make me question the security measures taken in this country.
I’ve flown from a certain Canadian airport several times in the past few weeks. I’ve been pulled aside for extra scrutiny almost every time, including pat-downs. When I asked why I rarely had this happen elsewhere, the security staff took umbrage and I was told it was for my own “safety”. (I guess I forgot that my main duty was to bee a good sheeple, shut up, and go with the flow.)
I wonder if twits like this one in London would have been given the same treatment.

UK police said that the man they believe to be responsible for the terrorist attack in Westminster yesterday has been formally identified as Khalid Masood.
Masood, aged 52 (Dec 25, 1964), was born in Kent and detectives believe he was most recently living in the West Midlands. Masood was also known by a number of aliases. Masood was not the subject of any current investigations and there was no prior intelligence about his intent to mount a terrorist attack.
