  1. As a forecaster and storm chaser, this is so awesome. The current lightning detection network has about 10% efficiency (no in-cloud lightning) and also unless you pay a butt load the general public won’t get access to the good real-time data. Plus, North of 60 we have almost no lightning detection except the western NWT, Yukon and Alaska. So this will add so much information.

  2. Liked the “NASA Examines Deadly Spring-Like Weather With GPM Satellite” (Hazards, March 3, 2017)
I guess you must have the same terrible body count each spring that we do in Blighty.
Al Gore’s prophesies have truly come to pass…

  3. I was hoping from the headline to read about some scandal, smut, and bribery. Dang. Guess I’ll go back to CBC news…

  4. I just checked it out. It has not changed. Lost in limbo I guess. The Huff has some stuff if you are desperate.

  5. I thought nasa’s job was to pump up the self-esteem of muzzies all over the world. I’m glad to see that they are back in the satellite business. It was certainly a big job to find any measurable contributions the non-prophet and his minions have made to civilization. I guess you could count inbreeding with relatives, forced marriages of six year old girls, buggery of every kind imaginable, wiping your butt with your hands, and many other attributes of a 7th century cult of an egyptian demon moon god and his satanic followers.
