We Don’t Need No Stinking Giant Fans

American Interest;

It’s one thing for a country’s radical energy decisions to burden its own citizens, but it’s another altogether when those negative effects start to spill over into neighboring nations. That’s what’s happening in Germany right now, where headlong subsidization of renewable energy has not only produced some of the highest electricity bills in Europe, but has also threatened the stability of power grids in Poland and the Czech Republic.

  1. Absent the perfection of “a practical and safe supercapacity electrical energy storage device”,
    aka “the electricity bomb” in its failure mode, this entire mess was preordained.

  2. Politicians like unreliables because it helps secure the vote of the green fetishists. Who cares about the results!

  3. I wonder if Ms Wynde is going to fcukitup so bad that her epochly disastrous policies screw up the Europeans too ….
    I mosied over to the local lieberal mpp’s constituency orifice before xmas to politely enquire if the Tranna gang had anticipated that the Chirese wit’ their HUNDREDS of COAL FIRED elec generators are obliterating any and all ‘green’ gains. no response. so I went back ’round the middle of January and repeated the misplaced Q. to date, no response.
    what a truly uniquely disastrous misdirected naïve and unexaggerated dangerous risk to the very lifeblood of this once ‘have’ province. it’s the economic and manufacturing infrastructure you goddamm byatch. KEEP AWAY FROM IT. keep your meddling ideology obsessed incompetence clear of the hydro system. sell it? you screw it up for decades to come and then just unload it?
    etc etc.
