I note with a certain contempt the CBC et al .making sport of President Trump for his comment about Sweden’s Terrorism. They gleefully had quotes from indignant Swedish officials about ” absolutely no terrorism” having taken place.
What they did not show was the fearsome rioting and car burning in Sweden. Although President Trump was not absolutely accurate, there was a mitigating factor. I would think what happened with the riots is indeed terrorism. This if taken in the context of what such events must do to the average citizen. This is a form of terrorism. This fear for one’s safety includes the embattled law enforcement personnel.

The CBC et al. were foolish to make an issue of Trump`s comment. He explained that he was not talking about a specific terrorist attack, but a degrading immigrant situation as was explained on Fox on Friday. What the media has done is to simply cause everyone to pay a lot more attention to the Swedish mess. Had they not made such an issue, lots of people would not be paying that much attention. The media attack was petty. It serves them right, and Trump`s view is confirmed to be accurate.
