Absent in his observation of the media being responsible for their own loss of credibility is the glaring omission of the Duke University ‘scandal’ published by his own employer, Rolling Stone Magazine. The lives of a half dozen athletes at Duke were virtually destroyed by a false accusation of rape and because they have no journalistic integrity, Rolling Stone has never, ever apologized for their major role in that travesty.
The media continues to remain willingly and woefully ignorant of their own failing.

Propose to fix/do SOMETHING
step 1: Identify all “stake holders”. Time frame, 6 mon to 1 year.
step 2: Meet stake holders to identify concerns. 1 yr to 2 yrs.
step 3: Repeat step 2 to clarify concerns. 2 yrs to 3 yrs.
step 4: Repeat step 2 but offer 1st cut compromise to proposal. 3 yrs to 3.5 yrs
step 5: Repeat step 2 but offer 2nd cut compromise to proposal. 3.5 yrs to 4 yrs
step 6: Identify & add new stakeholder(s). Repeat steps 2 to 5. 4 yrs to 4.5 yrs
step 7: Recognize that original proposal is IMPOSSIBLE because not everyone will be satisfied. Abandon proposal completely. (10 years later)
Maybe, just maybe, this would have been handled better if someone in AUTHORITY had simply made a decision in the first place and carried the proposal to completion. (That’s ‘deep thinking’ and it’s very wrong because it means actually accepting responsibility).

What this statement reveals to me is that the average leftist has deep, unresolved, “daddy issues”. These childlike liberals never grew out of their “rebellious” stage. A stage that EVERY adolescent experiences, and most outgrow. The typical reader of Rolling Stone is still locked into their rebellious adolescence. Understandable in a 17yo … not so much after age 24.
The country had a chance to vote for “mommy” who cooed, and whispered sweet things to the voters that embraced them like a warm blanket. By telling them that “daddy Trump” was being “mean”, and that he should just leave everyone alone. Yeah, “mommy Hillary” said all the things a growth-stunted liberal wants to hear. That nothing is their fault, and that they “deserve” everything.

On Saturday, CBC radio news reported on Sharpton’s march in Washington. In their usual suggestive way, they said merely that Protesters marched in Washington Mall in protest of the Trump election. They were so obvious in their avoidance of numbers that I looked it up for more details. Leading up, organizers had estimated that 25,000 would participate. On the day of the event, Reuters said only “thousands”, and a video suggest that they could probably have dropped the “s”. A CBC listener would have been forgiven for thinking that the whole city was up in arms.
