  3. My opinion on the choices for president in this election cycle are similar to Gary Johnson:
    Johnson on Thursday was faced with the hypothetical question during an interview with ABC’s “The View.”
    “If someone had a gun to your head, would you vote for Hillary or Trump?” host Joy Behar asked.
    “I’d let it go off,” Johnson responded, gesturing a gun to his head.
    But, the Left’s unhinged response and threats of retribution and violence is getting crazier and crazier. This is beyond mere politics, it’s fanatical. Then I remembered that progressives have been criticized as being a fundamentalist secular religion. Going by that theory it kinda makes sense.
    As i see it, progressive fundamentalists Original Sin is being born white. Redemption can only be found by becoming “woke”, basically what traditional Christian religion would call being Born Again. So, then I guess it is not shocking that born again progressives see The Donald as The Devil and anyone showing any tolerance for him as his devilish minions who must be purged from their righteous society (aka cult).

The entertainment industry, another integral part of the institutional left deserves to be excluded from the celebration which, should be scaled down from previous coronation-like events unbecoming of a republic. The top military Bands, all with their own big bands and vocalists are virtually as good as anyone in the commercial sector. He should be using them as they come as a fixed cost as it’s their job.

  12. At the inauguration, they should announce that due to death threats from the Left, there will be no singer. Instead, the audience should sing.
    As somebody said above, there’s a military band. Let the people sing along with that.
    That would be a hell of a message to send, in my opinion.

    Andrea Bocelli is, I understand, a friend of Trump, and was going to sing. First it was his fans who were complaining and now it’s death threats. As all of you on here know he is blind and dependent on others for everything. Once he received death threats, his security advised against it.
    Now, close your eyes for a few days, 24-hrs a day, and then decide what you would do if the security on your payroll decided it was too dangerous for you to appear.
    Of course if he goes, no one is going to kill him. We all know that. But his security providers aren’t willing to take a chance and, obviously, he is going with their advice.
    Never having been blind, in his position what would you really do?

  21. I would override my security also, but I still think we have no idea what it is like to be as vulnerable as he is. I’d want to be holding my head high and looking around so they could see how despicable I think they are.
    If the left actually attempted to kill him, it would make a statement that would resound around the world, but I don’t think Trump wants him to be a martyr. Rob the world of that voice? Never.
