The very same commissioner exonerated him from moonlighting as an MP and accepting lavish fees from schools and charities ($10,000 Kincardine school board) A person that needs an ethics commissioner to tell him this is acceptable is a person with only hazy ideas of what constitutes ethical behaviour. I read the column you linked to by CBC’s Robyn Urback and was astounded to read this quote: “…incessant hounding by the alt-right rag National Post, the story didn’t die.”
I recall Urback writing for the same Post very recently. So she was happy to receive payment from a alt-right rag for quite some time, until a commentary gig at the People’s Daily came up. And they wonder why journalists have such a low opinion rating; her ethics are as suspect as Jr’s and that is saying a lot.
Read the CBC piece again, Martin. Urback is being quite sarcastic. Ther reference to the National Post is a just kick at those who try to dismiss the story on the grounds that, after all, ot came from an alt-right rag.

When the conversation around friends comes to this latest juthtin bimbo erruption do not play the part of the angry old fart. The response and commentary must be ridicule.
Secondly I would hope the opposition picks up with the strategy of using this breech of ethics not to go after juthtin directly but instead go after his supporting cast. The reason is that the liberals and the media have a protective reflex that any reason any specious reasoning to excuse his behavior is jumped at. Therefore if the easiest resolution to make this go away is for the palace gaurd to throw someone under the bus then identify a patsy and let the media do the rest. Eventually after a couple of months of sacrifices. ..and because juthtin isn’t a quick learner its going to happen again…it will be a restart of the ol liberal civil war.
