    Aboriginals are not winning by blocking pipelines, the oil industry will just cut the pipes up into 40′ sections, put wheels under them, and burn tanker loads of diesel fuel pulling the pipelines where EVER they want….. Because trains do NOT require ANY approvals to cross borders, mountains, or rivers.

    Every single goverment agency that was devised to prevent a tragedy like this FAILED. Why ? Political Correctness. Not a single leftist “working” for the city had the balls to RED TAG and evict these poor “Artists” from their fetid fire trap. And now … all fingers are pointing at the “arrogant artist” who created this mess. And not a single leftist “working” for the city had the balls to CHARGE the Chinese slum lord owner of the building with multiple violations of Zoning and Building codes. Why ? Because he is Chinese. Rest assured that IF any one of the Caucasian building owners I work with had run a warehouse building like this … they would have been sued by the city long, long, ago. Two legs bad, Four legs good … is the policy of Oakland government. In a related story … the Socialist mayor has finally started “caring” about the Oakland Raiders … after the teams move to Las Vegas was all but assured. The inmates are running the Assylum.

    CNR: Gates currently owns 2.2% of CNR stock. This is not the largest holding as many funds own far more. Again Royal Bank owns more.
    Natives and eco nuts have nothing at risk by blockading these projects. They have the time because most do not work. My cynical conclusion is that this is a cash grab. The true irony is that various tribes in colonial NA spent time warring against other tribes. They were slave owners. Most Sioux tribes had been forced west and had only inhabited their ‘sacred lands’ for 200 years prior to Euro arrival.
