1. I don’t know much about Leitch, was leaning toward Bernier, but if leadnow commies are against her I’ll need to take a closer look. Streisand affet?

2. Whoever becomes CPC leader, indeed whoever suggests any kind of sober conservative, fiscal or social policy look for them to be targeted with the “Trump-style” moniker. A given in Canadian politics for the next decade probably. After all fascist is sort of running out of steam and “Harper-style” is like so yesterday.

3. Leadnow is the LPC in all but name.
   If Elections Canada was doing its job this organization would have been castrated a long time ago.
   Their calls to end vote splitting as they like to call it is actually a loose translation for
   “You silly NDP voters will never form government so just vote liberal….ah but don’t actually join the liberal party and oust the laurentian elite from running the LPC.”

4. We could pick Elizabeth May as CPC leader and she’d suddenly become a racist, sexist, bigot homophobe. We need to focus on who can push back and win. Leich is under attack bigly right now. If she hangs in and pushes back I think you’ve got a good indication here of what a general would be like. I like Bernier too BTW.

5. Bernier has some novel interesting policies and is much more seasoned than Leich. He would be harder to tag with the “Trump-style” pejorative (though Liberals certainly will try) and could be expected to run well in Quebec.

   The second fellow traveller on the list is none other than MoveOn.org, so that should be a clue. The rest are international variants of the same ‘global progressive movement’ whose ultimate goal is global socialism.
   And I think we all know where that would lead….

7. The left is in it to win. They have no problem inserting their efforts into the Conservative Party to ensure the leadership of the weakest candidate. Just look at Ontario or Alberta. Too many conservatives are simply happy-faced (pro-business) socialists anyway. Canada could really use a Bernier but he is an outsider to the happy-faced socialists within the party.

10. Leadnow ? Well that explains a lot. Why are they advocating exposure to lead ? I thought that lead paint caused brain damage. Lead solder in your pipes causes brain damage ? Don’t they know that they should LIMIT their exposure to lead ? … and not celebrate it ?

13. We’re not the USA here people!! Canadians don’t fall for Hollywood style politics, especially not in Ontario and Quebec. Kelly Leitch will do well in the West, however to take Ontario and Quebec will need a seasoned soul. And that’s Maxime Bernier. And do remember that by the time the next fed election comes around, Donald Trump will be ”just another president.” As a matter of fact, within the party, this is what is happening.
