  1. When you’re on the “right” side of the vote it’s called democracy. When you’re on the “wrong” side it’s called populism. Apparently it’s okay for the “enlightened” to over rule populist majority decisions.

  2. The Brexit vote is so shocking and out of the ordinary that when European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker is shown meeting with British Prime Minister Theresa May he has his hand on her shoulder.
Simply amazing to see in this day and age of absolutely ‘no touching’.

  3. This is a prime example of the necessity of a 2nd amendment-like law. Even without, if British MP’s try to defy the democratic decision of the people, it could still get very ugly in Britain.

  4. “Juncker is shown meeting with British Prime Minister Theresa May he has his hand on her shoulder.”
He was probably in a drunken stupor and needed support to stay on his feet.

  5. This comes as no surprise. The ‘Elite’ will not give up their power easily. The ever expanding strata of bureaucrats that have engulfed Western society since the Second World war will not cease their quest to create a new feudalism. The ruling class in Europe are no longer the landed gentry that once depended on the serfs to protect the country from armed invaders. The ruling class are now petty minded bureaucrats and politicians that have destroyed the freedom of the common man. What the 1930 NAZI party tried to accomplish in ten years by force in Germany has now been accomplished in the last 75 by stealth in the whole of Europe. Brexit was the last hope of freemen in Britain, and to a certain extent for the rest of the Western world. A united European army as espoused by France and Germany is the anvil that will enforce the subjugation of all dissenters, and unlike America, as mentioned above, there is no 2nd Amendment in Britain.

  6. As much as most politicians these days cater to globalists and the chattering class, their own self interest and career are still politicians main priority. May should call their bluff. Schedule a vote, a confidence vote, on the Brexit issue. Are the MPs for implementing the will of the voters on the Brexit referendum? Get each MP on record. If the vote fails, a general election is called. Every voter will know how their MP voted, for or against their Brexit wishes. Unhappy voters can fire any MPs who have voted against Brexit. From what I’ve read, the Tories have increased in popularity since the Brexit referendum and the fear mongering has proven highly exaggerated. I doubt many anti-Brexit MPs from pro-Brexit ridings will sacrifice their career. Leave it up to voters. It is supposed to be a democracy.

  7. The people have spoken but not the right people! Good to know that the SCOC are not the only group of “Supremes” in the business of creating law rather than interpreting it.

  8. As Kate used to say at the top of this SDA blog (and I wish she’d bring it back):
“Not rioting in the streets has proven to be a failed strategy.”

  9. People actually thought that they could just leave the European Union, like hopping a train to freedom.
Soviet Union (cement wall) – verses – European Union (virtual wall)
Wait until we all figure out the UN wall’s run higher and deeper yet. Their not done literally gang-raping Europeans into submission, it’s just the first round.

  10. May could solve this problem in a day. Hold her nose and have Parliament pass enabling legislation. Whip the vote with the threat that any nay-sayers are on their own with the electorate should the vote fail.

  11. PM May would also need to make it clear that any Tory MP voting against Brexit would not have incumbency protection. Those anti-Brexit politicians would have to go back to their riding and let conservative voters decide if they will be the conservative candidate

  12. As I understand it, the High Court said “the people” must speak to this. And (to them) that means Parliament. But here’s the sequence of events: 1. Parliament passes a referendum law, empowering “the people to make the decision. 2. The people”, through the referendum, vote to leave the EU. 3. The Elite just hate that result, so (again) through the courts, call for “the people” – in their parlance, Parliament – to speak. 4. Parliament… Yes, it’s the same old game: if you don’t like the result, reinterpret the rules.

  13. Sounds like John Roberts has been advising the British Supremes … not good.

  14. The question that springs to mind for me is “…and how many armoured brigades does the Court have?”.
F@$! these so-called judges, they seem to me to be nothing more than modern-day Ephors anyway. Diseased old mystics with a prediliction for all manner of perversions. The correct response is “bog off you dirty old tossers. The people have already spoken”….

  15. Yeah,
got to get out of the dirty hands of the, as they call them often here, great unwashed.
What the hell do they know?
The low life judges and the low lives of MP, they know stuff!

  16. I find no joy in being right on this count.
The English that are left have yet to realise how hopelessly they have been duped over the past 60 years and if anyone is even amazed at how the US is or has turned out under the criminals in the Democratic party remember its about 60 years behind Europes socialist love-fest.
If anyone thinks that the UK can just go to an election and remove these !*$££*s then they really are out of touch, the way the voting is fixed it can never happen. Clue one, the disproportionate votes scotland wields in the UK parliament per head of population, think that happened under any form of democracy? No, it happened by socialists in power protecting their base, same as the population of the urban areas and the bribery of those populations at the expense of the rest of the country. Oh and not to forget the time and again proven voting frauds that result in a slap on the wrist to those “mis-guided” individuals, who, surprise surprise, to a man/women have all been Labour party hacks.
And then there is white flight from the UK, hidden for so long its probably disingenuous to even refer to the population remaining as English, as in any historical definition of the word English in context of a definable group of people.
So is it finished, again I would love to be proved wrong, but my gut feeling is that yes, that vote will not be replicated, the population is subdued and cowered under the remorseless application of mundane laws and regulations that would make even Russians baulk at the interpretation of those regulations and laws by an entitled group of self elected intelligentsia.
Like the American public finding out that Fox, Kelly, Ryan et.al are not really on their team, so too late the English find out that the fool Johnson and side kick Gove really where Trojan horses, and as for May, she has played the population for the fools the elites have always taken them for.
Now the rest of the word needs to hunker down and make sure that those same corrupt liberals are not allowed a free pass to escape the swamp they have created, and if that means tuning out anyone connected with the Biased Broadcasting C88ls and bypassing anything with the name virgin, cumbernuth, Hannan or any of the others living in a gilded world then and only then will there be any justice.

  17. Very well said, and you sum it up well with, ” What the 1930 NAZI party tried to accomplish in ten years by force in Germany has now been accomplished in the last 75 by stealth in the whole of Europe. Brexit was the last hope of freemen in Britain,…”.
Democracy is dying in our generation. Stalin and Hitler are winning.

  18. Is anyone really surprised? The same thing happened in the US with sodomite “marriage”. It was defeated by ballot initiative after ballot initiative, only to be imposed by judicial fiat. That’s how the cultural marxists work. They’ve been infiltrating key institutions for decades now.

  19. Up here in Canuckistan, we never even had a shot at voting on that particular issue.
It was SHOVED right up our Collective (_i_)’s…..pun completely intended.
    Thanx to Canada’s de-facto Ruling Family – los Libranos…
