  1. Oh, why not? After all, there are feminist glaciers and there’s feminist math, right?
When’s the next flight to Mars and can I still get a seat on it?

  2. B Deplorable,
There’s one flight available, but the rocket was designed by “objective truth” feminist engineers.

  3. The soft bigotry of low expectations gets even worse if you read the whole paper. It’s horrifying.

  4. 3+3=4. 2 for the rent seekers. Objective truth and the scientific method have been missing in action for quite awhile imho. As for feminism, or climatism, or statism, part of the same collectivist onion.

  5. The femiNazis in high dudgeon…
So when the bridges fail, dams burst, and your smartphone burst into flames in your pant pockets you can blame ‘femiNazi science’.
The idiocracy seriously needs to be taken down several thousand notches.

  6. Do those three realize how stupid they look? Or say? They are NOT scientists. I graduated Grade 3. Guess that makes me a “scientist”.

  7. It’s not the author of the paper’s fault, she is blonde.
She thought they were offering an exciting career in the world of scientology.

  8. That’s nothing new. When I was an engineering undergrad, I relied heavily on Skinner’s Constant!

  9. There have been few scientific women of note but I cannot believe that they would approve of this drivel.
Also remember that every dictatorship had some sort of weird group-think exercise like this (socialist realism and so forth). These nutbars can’t even be original.

  10. Sshhh! Mr. Potato Head might hear you and then he’ll give us another lecture about quantum computing to show how smart he thinks he is.

  11. What’s the big deal ? These feminists are simply repeating the goal of a Common Core education. Make ANY answer EQUAL to another. For instance, when a learned woman such as Rosie O’Donnell says that steel doesn’t burn or melt and therefore Bush blew-up the WTC … science needs to give credence to her “alternative” theory of metallurgy. Soon, we will have our colleges FULL of brilliant … “out of the box” … thinkers like Rosie ! Yeayyyy America, I cannot WAIT to start living in 3rd world collapsible mud huts !! You see … we are elevating the lowest, most dull-witted Americans to the TOP ! Just like Mao did !!

  12. The only good thing about people who live in reality tunnels having no connection to objective reality is that they’re going to be the first ones to die off when the big crash comes. While it’s not something I want to happen, there will be a certain pleasure in seeing the horrified reactions of people’s “safe spaces” and other deranged constructs of such people vanishing as a result of the brutal intervention of external reality.
Nothing in science is static, but in order to change things, one has to come up with a novel new concept and provide experimental evidence to prove it. Newton’s view of the universe wss dogma until that upstart Swiss patent clerk came up with the theory of special relitivity. Gravitational bending of light proved he was correct and solved that pesky problem of Mercury’s precession. I suspect there aren’t more Einstein’s around because women don’t throw themselves as deeply into finding solutions to scientific problems. In Einstein’s time, the only female physicist of any stature was Madame Curie.
What surprises me is that imbeciles like this are actually associated with a university in a capacity other than part of the custodial staff.

  13. Let us see now.
Hmm, these “feminazis” want to subvert rational thought with their idiot science.
Apparently, they can’t seem to discover anything, obviously can’t calculate, observe and reach conclusions other than social war.
It will be very interesting if there are any real, actual scientists, men and women that will banish their idiotic paper into some kind of scientific hell or some such.
There will be some irrelevant ‘intellectuals’ that will no doubt intellectualize this into infinity. It is what they do and get handsomely paid for.
Yeah, science is in good hands.
    Heh

  14. Actually.
Being very familiar with socialist realism, there was a lot of truth in it, if you can read between the lines.
You see, the painters and poets and writers and musicians had to pretend socialist realism in order to eat.
The plebeians have learned over time, something like 20 years how to decipher the meaning of things.
Those ideologues that would interpret the socialist realism for the masses, were mostly and with intention telling the truth.
The problem would arise when you would take it to another forum, you may have ended in prison cell since the socialist ruling class could not tolerate it.

  15. “What surprises me is that imbeciles like this are actually associated with a university in a capacity other than part of the custodial staff.”
Custodial duties require a real-world understanding of various chemical cleaners and workplace safety procedures.

  16. Quite right JJM. Direct contact with reality in that job. Guess there’s really no place where these moonbats would be of any use.

  17. Oh, they’re useful all right. Isn’t there a country somewhere that has a chronic shortage of speed bumps?

  18. A man wise in more than his field of physics, this is a lecture by Nima Arkani Hamed on the effect of searching for truth.
He has an intrinsic moral appreciation of the world that reminds me of the Zen and Buddhist appreciation of what’s out there. They are also a-theist in their methods to reach understanding.
The talk is not short. At about 5 minutes he starts to roll and at about 1 hour in he relates it all in a different way using Beethoven. I think a lot of people on this site will enjoy it.
