well…not much of the news on the main stream media is true anyway.
I don’t think the main stream media needs any help, they are doing a pretty good job of convincing tens of millions of people of things that are not true…and they are doing a pretty good job of hiding things that are true.
The main stream media is doing an excellent job of brainwashing people into beleiveing the most absurd things.

Journalism schools aren’t even pretending to be about journalism any more.
Does anyone here know where any honest reporting or investigative journalism still exists anymore? Seriously. And I’m not talking “reporters” who dig up dirt on ideological enemies or who aggregate stories the msm refuse to publicize. I mean consistently fair, unbiased and unedited exposure and issuance of all the facts of a story.
I feel that in both the public and social media, especially while trying to understand the current US election, I am simply jumping from infomercials to infomercials. Trump’s visits to Mexico and Detroit are an excellent example. He is either a hateful villain against blacks and Mexicans or possibly their new savior, depending on the agenda of who you read.
So let’s replace the term “journalist” with something a little more accurate. “Agenda Warriors” has a nice ring to it.

The mantra of the alternative policy folks is that in a democracy there is information that people NEED to know…The CBC practices this elitist policy.. they decide what Canadians NEED to know by broadcasting total bunk (Dizzy Lizzy) as if that opinion is equally valid. It could be argued that Canadians have become intellectually ignorant not because of what they KNOW, but what they don’t Know about what they think they know…Is there any form of Journalism that can be considered valid that does not report an accurate status without the NEED to know bias. I am not saying those on the right never lie, but to say both sides are equally bad is wrong.
The left is the biggest liar.
Most right wing blogs show us the complete story, put things in context to show us how the left managed to spin something into something it is not.
when the left uses a tiny portion of a temperature graph to have us believe the planet is warming at an alarming rate and the right uses the complete graph to show us it is a normal trend…that is not using lies to fight lies, it is using facts and logic
the right in the last 10 or 20 years has been doing a lot of that.
I am under no illusion, people on the right are humans and humans cheat and lie, but these days the left is far worse because they control almost anything, and those who have control can lie much more easily.
It is pretty much a full time job exposing the lies of the left, there is almost no time left for the right wing bloggers to make up lies.
There is no way both sides are equally guilty of lying.
Here is another example,
the left has everyone believing blacks are victims of whites, that blacks are no more violent than whites, that their crime rate is not sky high
the right provides us with FBI numbers…and uses simple mathematics to explain how 13 % of the population ( backs) has a much higher crime rate than whites.
the left uses emotions, and propaganda, the right uses the hard numbers
there is no comparison.
When will the Yes Men group be reporting on the Brantford Islamic Society endorsing the 2016 Pride march?
Perhaps having a special friday service for the local gays with pink or rainbow colored prayer rugs? (I admit I don’t know what islamic “services” on fridays are called)
You have to be a skeptic when following the news. I used to read the Christian Science Monitor- fairly objective – it might still be ok – but hard to find. I also read the Economist when I get the opportunity.
The MSM is an integral part of the dominant progressive culture and as such is in the business of defending the status quo while paying lip service to the historical but now false notion that the media questions the status quo. This is just creative distraction from the nullity of modern journalism.
I use the MSM to see what the left is lying about.
Anyone who gets their news from the MSM would be more accurately informed if they believed precisely the opposite of what is being reported. A few examples:

I forgive a lot of conservative propaganda hiding as news because we have a LOT of catching up to do. There are lots of liberal slanders and lies to be undone, and it’s gotta be done fast. The msm has been utterly shameless in it’s misrepresentation of reality to further a leftist agenda.
